Hi Karen, What an up lifting story! God loves all his animals he created. Everyone has a purpose that God gives us and I just witnessed yours! I too am a horse lover and
just purchased Two 4th generation colts of Super Horse Rugged Lark's bloodline. I love them so much like you do Lukas that I pray that God shows me the nurchering and patients that I need to make them a Lukas one day! Thank you for an insight of how much a horse can love it's owner! God Bless you !
This had certainty inspired me to try some new training methods without equipment on some horses I've been working with! An incredible and touching story, I wish you the best!
Oh my gosh this made me cry! I'm 11 and horses are my life-3 u are now my new role model! I love when people like you care so much for horses and this just shows that you should give every horse a chance, because sooner or later, you will find the results you've always been looking for! Thank you for this video karen-3 my favorite video on youtube
Lukas and I share freely for improved treatment of animals (we also have a book - Playing with Lukas on Amazon for interesting details) - you might be interested in the CHA You-Tube 3 part speech segments and the 3 demo clips with different horses. These give an overview of my techniques and examples. Let me know if you have any questions. Lukas is also on Facebook - all for fun.
Hi Karen and Lukas,so very happy that this lovely chap has found a human who's taken the time to unlock his talents.makes me realise I should try a lot harder to understand my ginger friend.thanks!
I have three thoroughbreds off the track, so when I saw your video, the tears were flowing! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story and for caring so much and not giving up!
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that is so so so so so so so so so cute!! i love it:) awwwwwwww i just cant stop saying awwww! hehehe, sorry i just cant find any words good enough to describbe this video, its just amazing! xxxxx
Oh Lukas you are wonderful and you are too karen! what a wonderful story with such a happy end, did my heart good :-) brought a tear to my eye, first out of sorrow for poor Lukas, then out of joy! You showed them lad :-)
@bordercreek Thank you so much - I wrote the story for children and it's my favorite so far! Yes, I still can't watch it myself with dry eyes, glad you enjoyed it, Karen
This is absolutely amazing. I have three rescue racehorses, my most recent would was saved off the back of a meat truck... I think what you have done with Lukas is absolutely inspirational. I think that every horse deserves a second chance <3 xx
A friend sent me your video because she said it reminded her of my horse. My horse is a PMU that I got when he was 4 months old. I too used trick training to help my horse find who he was meant to be. He can do some tricks like toss a ball accurately back to me and he understands things like yes, no, and all gone when asking for treats.... I cried while watching your video---BRAVO!
I have always said that just because animals don't speak "english" does not mean they don't understand or are dumb. So glad Lukas finally found someone who would help him express himself. Lovely!
Wow! That story sounds exactly like my thoughbred that raced thats so weird. Expecpt she doesn't know half as many tricks as Lukas. I think it is amazing that people think that they are such bad horse because they can not win races and then they give up on them and if you just give them someone that loves them they will be the best horses ever.
You've done such a wonderful job with him. People forget that they aren't animals to visit when bored, or livestock that win ribbons; each one of them is a blessing into this world that deserves a life of love and respect. It saddens me to see that man can't do that. It brings joy to see a horse that is so loved. Great job with him.
Lucas you are the champion of champions, you are the best and I am so happy that you have someone that truly loves and enjoys you.

Recipe to a champion horse:
-1000 pounds of pacience
-99 gallons of trust
-a few cups of understandment
-12 teaspoons of kindness
-a heart full of love
Mix all the ingredients, spread them in your horse, and let cook for some time... tha results are awesome!! =D
