This song brought tears to my eyes...that's how I felt when my best friend died last year around Christmas time. This song reminds me of him. It was one of his favorites. I remember when him and I were seniors in high school around Christmas time listening to this song. We both ended up crying and said that if anything should happen to the other; we would listen to this song and try not to cry. But that doesn't happen because I'm crying as I'm typing this....but I know he's in a better place

i love this song i remember my moms last christmas i was putting up the tree for her she had cancer and she watched me and cried and this song came on and she and i look at each other and cried so hard to let go of her i will always be her little girl, i know she is with Jesus she was a wonderful mother , and my best friend.

Though the song does make me tear up, it is not a sad song. We christians can celebrate when our loved ones who are in Christ die because they receive their heavenly reward and will know only joy and never feel pain again. We who are left behind miss our late loved ones, but are comforted by God's promise of eternal life through Jesus. Like the boy who is sure his Mom will meet Jesus, we are not scared off death. The man cared for 1 of Jesus' lambs, we all should do what we can to do the same.
