I was the perfect age - a little boy - to see this movie, and I saw many films yet somehow, I never saw this wonderful Disney film at the movies. I regret that now, as a 27-year-old, because Angela's performance is beautiful. I've since watched the movie, but I'm so sad that I'll never have that childlike wonder while watching it., as I should have done. Every parent should make their child watch this beautiful movie as soon as they reach 5 years old. :-(

I have loved Beauty and the Beast since I was a little girl, it was always my favorite Disney movie by far. I just got the Blu-ray edition for Christmas and it is stunning. This movie has always connected with me emotionally. Thanks for posting this :)

A little younger and incredible with every stage detail, from the key changes to the innuendo of subtle choreography. THIS is a star! After having watched "Murder She Wrote" for some years, this lovely song let me finally and definitively fall in love with this wonderful lady! May seem odd for a 34 year old guy, but hey, THIS is real art - something that unfortunately seems to become outmoded. Angie - go on forever!
This is simply gorgeous. A glorious rendition from a real trouper whose star age cannot dim and whose talent the years cannot tarnish. For those few who quibble that her voice is a little less than assured in places, please bear in mind that she has been a star for well over half a century and - even on her worst day - she can wipe the stage with the majority of today's so-called singers. This is character singing at its most effective and poignant. The world is better for having Angela in it.
She is the true definition of what an actress is. Someone who gives an amazing performance and not to just be in the spotlight. Hollywood nowadays could learn a big lesson from her. She is absolutely incredible.

Perfection. No big vocals needed or ridiculous riffing just the fragility and honesty of an old lady's voice. Sublime. What was with the busy conductor and his ridiculous tempo... slow down!

I have loved Beauty and the Beast since I was a little girl, it was always my favorite Disney movie by far. I just got the Blu-ray edition for Christmas and it is stunning. This movie has always connected with me emotionally. Thanks for posting this :)

@kennethmack27 ^_^ i still watch Murder she Wrote.... i love Bedknobs and Broomsticks too there awesome to watch.... i love it when they go in to the cartoon and dancing about on the bottom of the sea ^_^... also ignore him... his being a jerk.... you get some people like that and the best thing to do is ignore them ^_^..........

o my gosh, you young guys are so sweet to see her enduring beauty with such respect. Check out her performance of "Everything's coming up roses" Live from New York. A little younger and incredible with every stage detail, from the key changes to the innuendo of subtle choreography. THIS is a star! So few of the real thing these days...with so many "cheapies n hotties" taking the spotlight with no real talent. We're in a recession because of our collective mood, money is just the barometer.

It's funny what she says about singing the song because in an interview, she states that she told Alan and Howard that she felt she didnt feel the song was meant for her to sing, she sang the song only once, and thats what they used

She really sounds lika an elder lady. That's wonderful. In movies I always think such granny voices are funny but this song is wonderful. Her 'granny voice' make me feel so impressed.

Otherwise, in 6 or 7 or 8 years' time, you might end up being like that sick bastard who killed six people (including a nine year old girl) in Tuscon, Arizona, last week. There're lots and lots of warped people in your country, and I have a strong feeling that you are likely to become one of them.

After having watched "Murder She Wrote" for some years, this lovely song let me finally and definitively fall in love with this wonderful lady! May seem odd for a 34 year old guy, but hey, THIS is real art - something that unfortunately seems to become outmoded. Angie - go on forever!

This is simply gorgeous. A glorious rendition from a real trouper whose star age cannot dim and whose talent the years cannot tarnish. For those few who quibble that her voice is a little less than assured in places, please bear in mind that she has been a star for well over half a century and - even on her worst day - she can wipe the stage with the majority of today's so-called singers. This is character singing at its most effective and poignant. The world is better for having Angela in it.
