Ottawan est un groupe de disco français des années 1980.

Le chanteur Jean Patrick, né le 6 avril 1954 en Guadeloupe chantait dans une église locale. Puis il est parti travailler pour Air France à Paris. Il a formé un groupe appelé "Black Underground" puis il a rencontré le producteur Daniel Vangarde qui a signé le groupe, rebaptisé Ottawan (en référence à Ottawa, la capitale du Canada).
