ASMZ are a great band,one of my favourites. their tracks all strike a chord that very little else song makers can strike. it isn't always easy listening to them,heavy and emotional music. but i can't keep them off for long. great band. great track. thanks for the upload Dyrwen.

Why is this pointless, exactly? Just because people can get their music for free doesn't mean they'll do so - what about people who've never heard of them, but came across this video after looking up Spotless Mind and liked what they heard? I can't even count anymore how many bands I've been introduced to via Youtube, via videos just like this one.

I think that the uploader was, as he said, just trying to get the band's lesser known works up on an easily accessible venue. there aren't many ways to run into a band that disdains the corporate music system like ASMZ. True, youtube is a corporate institution, but it is an unmonitored one. By the way, thumbs upped your comment. concisely and politely put.

yes, it is. its not fantastic in an 80s everything is louder than everything else way or whatever, because that would obviously be totally inappropriate.

How often do you ever hear anything this subtle?! I like it because it sounds like a single mic, but as the song progresses you start to realise that mics are being mixed to bring certain voices up in a very natural way. It is totally restrained, true to life, appropriate to the character of the song and band.

Well I tend to have trouble finding good quality songs of post-rock on Youtube, so I figure in this case it is "lesser known". Also, it's not like they're exactly mainstream in any sense of the word, but eh, I digress.
