god I love spike lee's movies... he could have made another movie altogether with this... I like the tone of the movie he did make but this is cool and interesting too
This scene couldnt be included, because Monty's character was sadly under developed. it was a mere ending to a story, we were brought in on. it could have been a bit of a epic, with a lot more background, and thought set into motion, but they didn't bother.
I guess Spike figured he knew the "white man drug dealer" and his plight?
cant say. but I do agree that the FUCK YOU scene in the movie was great. It was great because it was true to form.
Too bad this scene was deleted from the movie. It looks like it would have given Monty's character more depth. He wasn't looking for just money doing what he did. "Sway" is more about influence and power that a person has with having that role.

Directors think they can win an oscar if the shoot a cool scene like the scene in goodfellas where the camera follows Henry and his wife at the copa, or that slow motion shot in resoivior dogs.

Because its a different tone then the rest of the movie...it's too lite and the angle makes it too cartoony.
The content is cool Sway and all, but the angles and the shots belong in a different movie altogether.
It reminds me of that game scene in the Beach.
And just to mention, that Fuck you scene in the mirror was one of the best scenes ever created. This movie was great, but that scene is amazing.
But regardless, I'm glad someone put it up.
