@invisimario Nah, I found pokemon Red/Blue Gold/Silver Fantastic, Then Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire was good, but from diamond and pearl onwards, they ran just out of good ideas with all there pokeblocks and all those other addons that I don't know anything about becuase I'm not playing those :P Also the pokemon themself are getting worse, they become more object based. The only object-based pokemon from the 1st gen I can think of is magnemite/magnetron.

Pokemon Crystal was the first game I ever owned. I am now 14 years old and STILL love to play that game. The second-generation Pokemon series was the greatest the game had ever put out. I was a bit apprehensive about them re-making them into Heart Gold and Soul Silver, however when I got them for the first time, I was blown away. These games were the best Pokemon games ever made, and HG/SS were the best MODERN Pokemon games made. Long live 8-Bit music!

Also, it isn't happening. So I take what was good from my childhood and bring it into the present. It's good to reflect on your experiences - just make sure they enrich your life, not define it.

Even though I still own the game, and I was given it by a friend, sadly after dropping it a few times and sneezing on it (accidently) the game no longer works, I can play it but when I go to save it, it saves but when I turn it off it won't let me reload it and it only says "NEW GAME." :(

Rather, it would have been a pretty intensive "extra-curricular activity". Plus it would have been a pretty effective form of defense against those little bastards on the playground! Depending on the interpretation, there might've even been Trainer schools, so there's that too. Hopefully not run by the eccentrics and incompetents in the anime, mind.

I tried comparing them side by side and I couldn't because the HG/SS version was slower so it was going out of sync. Way to fail...
