The reason why the house of Judah used the Lion is to convey the idea of strength. When Judah went to battle against the other tribes of Judah they did show a lot of strength.

Please pray God so he can help you understand the Bible - The Lion Of Judah is Jesus - and about 2012 the Bible says that only God himself knows the time to the end of the world.
