  • Just gotta say, I think you guys make great vids.

  • @AmericanMade72 oh yeah, and does it shoot both .223 and 5.56?

  • @AmericanMade72 It shoots both.223 and 5.56. Thanks for the comments and watching the video!

  • Been debating on getting one of these, nice shirt by the way guy. I love Guinness extra Stout, lol

  • thinken bout gettin a stock like dat

  • you can take the gas tube off for cleaning, its somewhat difficult but its can be done by the switch like catch on the rear sight block, give it a GOOD cleaning by taking it off the firearm

good video, thanks for your review, as i WILL not waste my money on that T6 stock, based on your review you answered my #1 question of the quality of tapco crap, i have tapco stocks on a couple of my PB guns and theres the SAME problem the wobble/noise/crap

  • How do get a buttstock and pistol grip to bolt on to this gun with out moving my trigger assembly forward?

  • @schwaegel87 Tapco makes a specific stock for unconverted Saiga's. A converted saiga is when you move the trigger group forward and an unconverted is one it left original. Check out our other Saiga Vids! Thanks for the comment and watching our video!

  • So the Weaver scope rings with windage adjustment would allow you to center that scope out, I think they run about $30.00, bring the whole thing in an let me take a look at it. Make sure to ask for Chris and remind me of who you are, we close early today and might be busy.

  • There is a mount that goes from the rear sight over the dust cover and bolts onto the receiver at the stock screw, called a Beryl mount. It comes in quick release and permanent, the quick release is way overpriced.

  • FAB/MAKO makes a AR tube buttstock that is "supposed" to take up that slop, never had one in my hands so I cannot say for sure. Surefire, the people whom make your mag make that bolt on wrap around muzzle brake, its expensive and fugly, whatta ya do, lol. There are some side mounts that have some adjustability for height and windage, but their quality is unknown to me. We have some Weaver brand scope rings that have windage adjustment in them.

  • oh an marry christmas to you too.

  • can you tell me what the rifle twist of the saiga 223 is? i have a few hundred rds of 62gran i'v been using 55gran.

  • @2gunTommygun Sorry this took me a while to get back to you. you may know the answer already. the barrel twist that was reported by Russian american armory was 1:10. 55grain will work (thats what I shoot), but 62 grain will work as well. Hope this helps.- Ryan

  • Since when are Pmags pieces of crap..? Everyone is aloud to have their opinion , but i have 15 P mags and a few Emags and i havent had a problem with any of them. in fact my buddy actually backed up on one i had dropped with his F250 , and i picked it up and used it.

  • @RollinCoal2000 Sorry you don't agree and Im glad you've had a good experience with them, but we have had nothing but problems with promag. We've spoken to Archangel development who oversees the production of Promag and they've told us that they are really trying to Increase the quality of Promag. Maybe we will try them again int he future, but as of right not I use Surefire mags. Thanks for watching-Ryan

  • @CandRreviews

I think he's confused... You're talking about ProMags. He's talking about PMags.

PMags are manufactured by Magpul. It's a different product al together.

  • @russoprimera I think you are correct. I just realized what he was saying. I believe the Pmags by Magpul area good product. I havent hap any personal experience with them but I've heard good things. Thanks for helping out on that one- Ryan

  • @RollinCoal2000 Are you talking about PROMAG or the PMAGS from Magpul? They are entirely different things. PROMAG is not close to the quality of the Pmags by Magpul.

  • try magpul stocks, i have one on my AR and love it, but you will spend a good amount of doe for one, well woth it thou

  • I'm thinking about picking up a saiga but really hate the hand guard... will the saiga still accept the standard wood furniture??

  • $200 new is UNBELIEVABLY cheap! Local shop in central PA has them for $399 which is cheapest I've seen. Putting one on layaway fir my Xmas gift (ik what I want). Like it better than the 7.62?

  • That sucks I picked up mine for $200 new. I also got a 30rnd mag

  • I heard Galil mags work in the Saiga .223, have you tried that?

  • @DesertPrepper I have not tried that yet, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion- Ryan

  • @CandRreviews Awesome, I look forward to hearing a range report!

  • @DesertPrepper okay, so here's what I found out. To make the Galil mags fit the saiga .223 you have to install a bullet guide. They also cannot be too loose or they will not work. Hopes this helps.- Ryan

  • if you ever want the trigger group moved up you can contact me in Portland I have a few I have done and there much more fun thx for the vid..

  • @jonasty6969 Thanks for the offer!

  • would you guys reccomend the saiga 223 or the 7.62x39

  • @Johnthepyro1 If you want that true AK feel then go with the 7.62x39. I personally would go with the .223 due to availability of the ammo. However, I don't think you could go wrong with either one...Thanks for the comment and watching our video!

  • @CandRreviews is 223 more available than 7.62x39? because i had an understanding that they were both really available

  • @MAFsoldier The 7.62x39 we can find here is all surplus (and sold out most of the time), so .223 is more available in our area. it may not be that way in yours. thanks for the comment- Ryan

  • i do it with my left hand every night.

  • You can get a mount on the dustcover but they don't work well. I found one that bolts over the cover should be better. I have a quad rail on my AK47 with a red dot at the rear of it. Most AK rifles have a side mount for scopes but not to many bother with scopes on an AK.

  • @wolf3001 There is a couple of them that bolt over the top of the receiver and look like a good idea. I moved the scope rings up on the rail and it solved the problem with the scope though. it is all zeroed in now. I will put up a 200yd accuracy vid soon. Thanks for the comment-Ryan

  • there was never a flash hider on the gun

  • @poopiemicpooppoop I believe the arsenal comes with one, but your right, they don't come from the factory with one. Love the user name and thanks for the comment!

  • @CandRreviews ur welcome!

  • i wonder if you can tell me the difference between RAA saiga and Arsenal saiga, there is a huge price difference.

  • @blaziankhmer I did some looking online and to be honest I would buy the RAA because most people want to customize their Saigas. The Arsenal has a muzzle brake and some small additions but not enough to justify the additional cost. I had a chance to get an Arsenal instead of an RAA when i bought my S12 and they are almost identical. There are some forums that break down the difference, just search your question in google. Thanks for the comment!

  • @CandRreviews just found out yesterday at the range, i've asked the RO and he said the arsenal has a stamped receiver making it a lot stronger. but i might just buy the RAA, for plinking around. thanks for replying.

  • @blaziankhmer The RAA Saiga has a stamped receiver also. If the receiver was Milled it would be a lot more expensive. As far as I know, Arsenal imports RAA Saigas and basically, breaks them down to just the receiver and then reworks them. This is what I have heard on multiple forums and other sites comparing the two. If you have plans to customize your AK, then I would buy the RAA and then do what you want to it. Just my opinion. Thanks for the comment-Ryan

  • i believe the flash suppressor was removed to make it cali. legal

  • @PhantomPhire25 That sounds about right. Typical California BS. Thanks for the comment!

  • @PhantomPhire25 These rifles were imported from Russia as hunting rifles. In order to be legally imported into the US they have no pistol grip, proprietary 10 round magazines, and no flash suppressors. It has nothing to do with California, it is federal import laws.

  • @DrFourton Thanks for the clarification!

  • @DrFourton regardless of why it was taken off, it needs a flash suppressor. This thing shoots Fireballs! -Ryan

  • @DrFourton um, not trying to be a douche bag,but you CAN import a rifle with a pg, ext. mags, and flash suppressor in all states BUT california. thats a mighty big coencidence.
