question im slowly building portfolio but the way i do its is taking my picture refrence and taking every single colour or almost every single colour to make it as realstic as possible, will my technique get me more money due to more time and a more realistic result?

What a clear, straight to the point, helpful tutorial. One of the very few good ones on Photoshop. Definitely subscribing, looking forward to more lessons! You've got a nice, calm, soothing voice btw. If you had a podcast I'd listen to it all day while painting :)
