Fall Out 3? Yeah, in terms of looks, the game surpasses Left 4 Dead by a long shot. But in terms of game play, I think Left 4 Dead owns that title. I watched Fallout 3 footage, and it's AI doesn't seem very smart. They seem to just stand around and shoot at you if they have a weapon without taking cover. Yes, zombies are pretty much the same. But they're zombies. And the VATS system will make it WAY to easy.
Plus, I think that Left 4 Dead has a better chance at success because it can be multi-player. Single Player games can be good, but don't last very long.
Still, Fallout 3 looks like an awesome game because of it's realism and the idea of survival. I might try that game out when I upgrade my PC, but I don't think it'll do better than Left 4 Dead.
And grammar, dude. I hate having to look at someone's post for five minutes just to figure out what they're saying.
One last thing: Left 4 Dead features the AI Director, which basically controls the gameplay based on the player's progress. It makes it tougher for the player when they are doing good, and easier when they are having a tough time.
It also spawns zombies, and bosses at random times each level, making for a different experience EACH time a level is played, so the players don't know what to expect. Which means Left 4 Dead shouldn't get boring for a while.
They're saying Nov 20 to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Half Life, but I'm sure it's because Gears of War 2 had the same release date. Gears is going to take some of their customer base away so they pushed it two weeks back.
Yes all doors you can lock...however kinda useless if being chased by a tank :P. Tanks blow walls down, boomers blow up walls, hunters break doors down (or find another way and stalk you) and common zombies stupid hitting the door rapidly.

No that's not true, Xbox360 online cost money, you only get updates every 2 WEEKS! And the controller can be a nag if you don't turn up the sensitivity for a fast pace game like this.Also additional content will cost money.

first person shooters belong on the computer, easy to control mouse with precise movement compared to a console controller that wears down with a shitty joystick. Also, the PC will have better graphics over a console any day.
for free via steam, you buy once the game ,than you download it from steam and you can play it how much you want online and offline, it has no costs like WoW or something like that
that's right! But better not to use this "tactic" they're 100's and the director mode will spawn the zombies in different ares every time you start a level...
They'll spawn from different positions. And if you do that the AI director will probably either stop and wait till you move to somewhere easier to ambush earlier on, or simply put them from behind you or something.
The game looks very, very fun...But I'm hoping that when the technology comes more readily available, they'll make another one with destructible environments. Shooting at a sheet-rock wall and not punching holes in it or being able to bash part of it out is not only unrealistic, but it leaving it out leaves out a lot of potential depth in the game.

While the computer version of this game you CAN mod, make maps for it, updates are more frequent also you can add additional guns, put custom characters, and if the keyboard is too confusing you know you can get a xbox360 controller and use it for the computer.
Yeah thats true you only need to download the Switch blade its a program that lets you use the controler to play wow but you can refigure the controls so you can play other games with it.

FUCKN noobs! The whole game was made for co-op TEAM play...these guys have no tactics or anything...the one playing the girl just RUNS OF on his/her own...then so do the other guys.lol WEAK! When they enter a room...evrybody just starts to run around the room LOOKING for zombies.

im glad it will come out for the 360. in my opinion i dont see how its easy with the comp. i can only see rts games on pc. thats it. with a console ur not limited to how far u can move the gun around. and its not as confusing like using a keyboard

No that's not true, Xbox360 online cost money, you only get updates every 2 WEEKS! And the controller can be a nag if you don't turn up the sensitivity for a fast pace game like this.Also additional content will cost money.

first person shooters belong on the computer, easy to control mouse with precise movement compared to a console controller that wears down with a shitty joystick. Also, the PC will have better graphics over a console any day.

They'll spawn from different positions. And if you do that the AI director will probably either stop and wait till you move to somewhere easier to ambush earlier on, or simply put them from behind you or something.

The game looks very, very fun...But I'm hoping that when the technology comes more readily available, they'll make another one with destructible environments. Shooting at a sheet-rock wall and not punching holes in it or being able to bash part of it out is not only unrealistic, but it leaving it out leaves out a lot of potential depth in the game.
It'll still rule, though.
