BTW This AI's name is "Azure Kite", as he is shrouded in blue fire & resembles Kite.
If you actually look closely at 4:00, you will see the doors to the church are suddenly open, and there is someone standing in the doorway when Haseo gets hit, Ovan was watching lol, or to be more exact, Azure Flame tried to blast Ovan, but due to his faulty programming, didn't realise Haseo was standing in the way of his attack, so Haseo ate the blast instead of Ovan, who Azure Flame had actually come to deal with.

However, the AIDA he was hunting shows itself offscreen behind Haseo. Due to faulty programming, Kite focuses purely on the AIDA, completely ignoring Haseo and tries to blast it with a Data Drain. However, Haseo is still in front of him and gets hit instead, with the AIDA (Ovan) leaving promptly.
@vc180191 If that was the case wouldn't the door be open alot sooner when kite arived? When you noticed the door it was still closed and ovan wasn't there when kite was about to use his data drain. But who knows you could be right, i just thought that aura told kite to head to the holy ground since thats where ovan was going, but haseo comes in head on and attacks kite. And seeing this action kite has no choice but to data drain haseo, i think kite had an option to put him in a coma or lvl 1

I always thought that at the end Kite was gonna tell him he was helping him reach his true power, but little did I know that at the end he was just a data remnant of the original kite, who probably quit the game a long time ago. I was really disappointed to see such an amazing character be thrown out like that.

My two favorite things are the cutscenes and artstyle. It saddens me that there isn't a .hack game on the current gen. consoles. Imagine the whole game looking like GU's CG cutscenes.

My two favorite things are the cutscenes and artstyle. It saddens me that there isn't a .hack game on the current gen. consoles. Imagine the whole game looking like GU's CG cutscenes.

@megamandrwily It dpeneds entirely on the color of the bracelet. Azure Kite has a red bracelet, so a red Data Drain.

If you notice azurekite -the master of all- defeats Haseo -the terror of death- with only one hand...-spoiler alert- and ovan is shady...T.T always telling fragments of the truth...^.^ It made me very happy to fight and defeat him twice in vol. 2 and 3

@wiredlord They know each other in .hack//Link, and they're in the same Guild. Haseo knows by Rebirth that Azure Kite is a good guy, so he's not going to be fighting the real Kite.

Also, Morganna is Aura's creator. He first made the AI Lycoris (Read .Hack//AI Buster), but Lycoris wasn't what Morganna wanted, and so he created Aura.

2) Can someone tell me who the voice actor is and what some of his biggest roles are so I don't feel like killing myself because I think I heard it before

1) Maybe you already heard it if you saw Naruto. His voice is the same as Sasuke's. Also, he dubs Keigo Amano, in Bleach, Jinnosuke ("Kuma"), in Afro Samurai and The Prince, in the "new" Prince of Persia series.

Morganna was an AI that acted like a babysitter AND was responsible of gathering information of people to then be Data Drained by Aura. That way, Aura would become the Ultimate AI. Basically, Morganna was a separated part of Aura...
