  • amazing. they dont sing with this much heart anymore

  • wow.

  • this mi song

  • One of the greatest of negro spirituals sung by one of the greatest Afro American singer ever. They make for an unbeatable combination...

  • commie!!!

  • I'm still waiting for my chariot. Guess I have to keep walking.

  • The best rendition of "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" I've heard all day

  • In addition to my earlier comment I have to add that Robeson was also very critical of Stalin's policies towards Jews..and perhaps only threw in his lot with the communists in America because they offered resistance to racism across the west.

  • Paul Robeson if alive today, would be singing for the Occupy Wall Street movement. He like many others on the left had too much faith in the USSR..yet what had capitalist America done for black people?plus like other western USSR supporters he would have not known the scope and savagery of Stalinist brutality.Beautiful voice..it is a tragic truth that great suffering often produces great art..

  • @meltonmiller

"What had capitalist America done for black people?"

First of all I didn't capitalize black for what should be obvious to most.

The so-called first lady said some time back that she loved our country but despised our flag because it was a sign of oppression.

How about the tens of thousands of Americans that died under that "sign of oppression" to free her ancestors rears so they could become freeloaders and ingrates on the nation that freed them from bondage?

  • THE QUESTION IS WHAT HAS AMERICA DONE FOR BLACK PEOPLE

  • @Mr1991Wright

    Elected them president...

  • @sciences8 what has he done for black people?

  • @Mr1991Wright

I don't know. If you don't like him so much, why did you vote for him?

  • @sciences8 I didn't..i was too young back then

  • @Mr1991Wright They are doing pretty well in the NBA and NFL...They are doing a hell of a lot better than those in the mother land

  • @legendarybear how is that helping the majority of us in poverty...Africans come 2 America and get rich off us...so whats your point

  • very beautiful and relaxing music, it's sung in a special way.I experienced great feelings when listeniing to its simple and beautiful themes. thanks my dear friend.

  • The one and only who sang this true to all hearts \(^_^)/

  • A great country such as USA, to treat a great artist like that was a shame. I am sure that this would not happen again. Not in USA !

  • @rohanwirasekara you are aware that it is just another first world industrial country, not heaven on earth? just asking.

if you followed the news the last... dunno, fifty, sixty-something years, you'd know that western countries are about money and their own benefit, and that politics are strongly influenced by big companies, not ideals.

    cheers!

  • @rohanwirasekara Im sure it would.

  • the best bass for ever..:)

  • Big Heart. In the wrong Land.

  • Large/Big voice deep sound, one of the best basses! Thanks!

  • a GREAT song sung by an equally great ARTIST who has no equal

  • He really is my idol as far as singing goes. Wish i could find his singing in more stores.

  • Škoda, že tak úžasný zpěvák už v dnešní generaci nemá víc posluchačů- je to překrásný hlas.

  • Timbre, That's the word. A voice with timbre. Oh and b the way, he meant it. That makes a difference too.....

  • Beautiful.

Such a shame this song has been hijacked by others.

  • Great, that voice is amazing! Greetings from here! -Monika

  • Fantastic beauty voice, great singer!
