I have tried this and own a .50 and we have done fire tests at my site. It is accurate, but only up to 30 metres. Its range is way less that .68 (about 15-20 metres less). Not such a big deal in Tourney but a HUGE dissadvantage in scenario and woodsball. Dont get me wrong, this is a good product but like anything it has its limitations

i heard that this un is going to retail for about 600... which is kick ass....im liking the change but what i dont like is the fact that theres very little probability of reloading in a game...which actually makes it... easier in a way...and harder in the other, its jst going to be non stop shooting...which is a turn off..

If the rules allowed people in tournaments to shoot their own paint, they'd already be doing it....he can't switch to this gun unless everyone does too.

when the rules are written by those manufacturing the paint, the guns, and the gear..anything can happen. Philly and Aftermath will be shooting .50 cal next season as soon as they come off the production line, both teams will begin practicing with them. Until then both teams will continue to utilize the LUXE marker.

Good luck getting 50 caliber off the ground : I recommend focusing your advertising on emerging foreign markets, lest you risk further negative brand recognition. But, as you stated, it all comes down to $ and what the shill counters say goes in your "professional sports league".

its because you're in a firing zone when you are in a shooting range, other people can be shooting around them, and accidents happen, what if something goes wrong with the gun, or someone elses gun, its dumb asses like you who make this sport so horrible to people who only see paintball when its in the news about some kid getting his eye shot, we are trying to promote this sport into a respectable sport and to do that we need to show we are very concerned with safety.

I found many tests in different forums and they showed that .50 isn't that good, bounces a lot... .68 performs better. .50 balls brake faster so the fields must become short. .50 has to be improved a lot. that's why planet eclipse doesn't produce conversion kits at the moment. Just made a prototype for the worst case..

shot that exact gun at cup, its really slow on semi (as u can see) but if its has psp it may be badass, but he was shooting about 20 feet infront of him so u cant really see the acuracy

thats a myth! I was around him when he went to the D1 field on sunday to shoot it after they took the bunkers down, and it shot easily across the field and broke easily, it was very visible! Your sources are the real fail....
