  • Is David Rosen still alive?

  • Seega!!! Sega was a great Jewish company

  • I have the TE version and it works great for PS3 games, but will not work with a PS2 game being played in a PS3 system. Very frustrating. For a stick this expensive, you would think that it would be compatible with all PS1, PS2, and PS3 games played on a PS3 system.

  • i hope they come out with marvel vs capcom 3 sticks and controllers =)

    #MVC3

  • So I'm a newbie to the gaming scene and thus far have been unable to execute the more complex moves on SF4 (PS3) with the standard controller. If I buy the Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick, will that idiot-proof my ability to perform Super and Ultra combos?

  • the music throughout the whole video is REALLY ANNOYING! I just wanna hear the dude talk about the hardware

  • we know that sf4 te is veryvery good arcade stick and we want to experience of that stick

  • could anybody import in philipines some arcade stick of sf4 t.e. for ps3, there are so many players of ps3 here. stores here only have sticks for xbox

  • i think if you put his pant down you going to see a joysticks damn

  • so sad to see someone like skill pushing rubbish like that se stick...

  • fight stick fight pad man who cares, overrated overpriced controllers, ill just stick to my dual shock OG ps3 contoller

  • I got the sticks for the xbox and I've only had them for two weeks and one of the buttons is on the fritz I wish I could take that button and ram it up Seths' ass

  • @brenorv1 just mod it. U probably got the SE, only thing that shit is good for is modding with Sanwa/Seimitsu parts. What are u gonna do, its mad catz!

  • does the TE come with a memory function?

  • does it work for PC (Windows XP & up)?

  • is this compatible with super street fighter 2 hd????

  • re: wiiwhiz

    Yes

  • its compatible with every game, but probly only want to use it for fighting games lyk street fighter or virtua fighter

  • or namco museum essentials.

  • in other words games that use 3 buttons of punches and kicks

  • it should because its from the same company

  • any fighting game its compatible with

  • no tried my te with samurai showdown and didnt work pissed me off actualy biut other than that its an awsome stick i mean the te but i heard this one is great at furst then turns to shit

  • i kinda of have a problem with this stick. I have the stick and everytime I move the joystick left or right, it makes sqeaky noises. What should I do? Its really annoying.

  • good thing theres more in stock now :)

  • I wish they made a controller with buttons on R2 and L2 not acceleration. Rest of the buttons are fine.

  • One thing i gota add is that its a square stick holder vs the circular. at first i felt like i didnt like it but after...its well worth the money and the quality that went into it. amazing stick.

  • I think the square gate sticks are for charge characters mostly. I have seen people using TE-sticks in tournaments that are beastly with shoto's though.

  • Thats what ppl say but it took me a bit of time to get use to but. i can do now fireballs and all moves fairly easily for me good practice was guilty gear as you could do dragon punches in the air so at this point im able to do an airel dash back into a dragon punch. executing that with a pad is just a nightmare. it does boil down to personal pref. on another note for like 10 years i thought dragon punch was forward down forward looool its a simple Z motion loool...

  • I've never used a circle gate. Do they have a better feel?

  • basically a square gate is just that a 4 point box that the stick can move in. the octagon gate is an 8 point movment. now the major dif here is yes its easier to shoot fireballs and do dragon punch with the octa right off the bat but its easier to screw up charges block and various other things. the way i say it is you can do everything on both of course but imo the square once learned properly is more precise cuz you know exaclty where the stick is...

  • granted if you have 2 people that are good at using each stick doesnt mean one or the other has the advantage. it boils down to personal pref. but for me i like knowing where the stick is. as for fireballs with the box i hold down and ride the boxes edge till its forward. fireball everytime. for dragon punch it couldnt be simpler.. press forwards then press down and ride the box forwards while hold the stick down.

  • also i use to play SF4 with the anlog stick vs the d-pad because the xboxes d pad is just press one thing and you give 3 inputs. so if your use to actually fighting with the A-stick then maybe octa would be good for you. this doesnt mean that D-pad is comparable to the box. like i said at first i hated it. but after i got use to it and any input i want to happen happens no hickups.

  • another major factor is the actuall controller itself not the direction see there are generally two types. the japanese tend to use the round ball thing where as americans tend to use a bat shapped handle. i am use to the ball and box. i went to my buddies house and tried his bat and 8 point...im terrible at it.

  • I've used bat tops in arcades and they are nice. I'm really used to the balltops though.

  • americans have huge hands

  • baderhhh..whats wrong with a man from America having big hands nothing at all better then having small hands that look like a girls hand lol

  • took me about 1-2hrs to get a feel for it and it is worth the time. once i got the feel for dragon punch and 360 moves everything feels just so sexy.

  • for the upcoming games KOF12 and blazblue i strongly suggest this stick. especially blazblue as reactions with the 360 controls will be clunky compared and ill even say that about the ps3 controller. arcade stick > ps3 control>xobx 360 control. the d pad on the 360 is imo for looks as its seems to have no practical use as you push like 3 inputs at once. so at least the D pad on the PS3 is far better.

  • i tried it on sf4 and i felt that the game itself was too sluggish but that prolly cuz im now use to fast response and fast paced 2d fighters. this thing gives you unrivaled dash control.

  • omg i just got this today played guilty gear and its like night and day how horrible i was at the game b4 this thing owns the xbox 360 controls. feel like a new game.

  • I'm getting a SE Fight stick and if it doesn't perform as well as I'd like I'm going to get some Sanwa parts and mod it myself. It's dirt cheap and is the same quality as the TE stick.

  • Is the X360 TE Stick also PS3 compatible?, because it has USB Cable and the PS3 has usb ports too, reply please!!

  • In short, no.

  • That blows. I have both PS3 and XBOX but I got SF4 for PS3 because the XBOX dpad blows! However PSN is weak compared to Live so I might get one for the XBOX.

  • right out of the box?, NO.

But you can easily mod it so its possible;)

  • Can you use the SF4 TE stick for other games like Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix or Soul Calibur IV?

  • Yes. Should work with all games, though obviously it'll work with fighters better than, say, a first person shooter.

  • yeah any fighting game! the TE stick even has a switch to swap the stick function from d-pad to left stick or right stick :) nice as i couldnt play some of my live arcade games with the hori stick i have also .. which is also a great stick for fighting games

  • Only buy the TE stick form Madcatz the TE stick is made by Capcom and Sanwa and assembled by Madcatz the SE stick is all Madcatz built and is very low quality and no quality checking done before sale. Buy the TE stick or stick or go for a Hori stick.

  • Comment removed

  • NeilsShoe: The SE stick can easily be modified with real arcade parts from Sanwa or Seimitsu. The most advanced tool needed is a screw driver. The modification comment made by the Capcom guy in the video above goes for the SE stick as well.

  • nearly £200 for a joystick, bull shit, a shit workman always blames his tools, in other words with lots of practice, u can get just as good with a standard pad.

  • Well, in some fighting games you have to press like three buttons at a time to do some moves, and different kind of turns is hard to pull off with a joystick or d-pad.

Pretty much every fighting game is designed to be played with a stick, and then converted to home consoles.

  • Street Fighhter 4 Tournament Edition Arcade Fight Stick is fucking Awesome .. Dont buy the SE Stick its blow to many problems with it . If you do get one you better no how to mod it other wise dont bother getting one =)

  • Totally agree, I had the SE stick and it was returned within the week, usual problems i.e. joystick sticking to one side, and the top was also scratched. Waiting for TE to arrive pretty soon, which im hoping is going to be a lot better than that piece of crap!!

  • Hey Shah2323 I bought 2 Street Fighter 4 TE Sticks and sold one for over twice the price it is retail and got my SF 4 Tournament Stick (FREE) Lifes Good =)

  • Well there were the lucky few like yourself who managed to get hold of them before selling out everywhere.

  • Seems like I'm gonna buy the joystick cuz the control pad I've been using is hard especially when controlling the directional buttons.

  • Hey CJAC5, Well I have both the Street Fighter 4 controller and I have the Street Fighter 4 Tournament Edition fight stick and I must say there both great in there own right . Its just a matter of preference .some people say they like the controller because that what there use to. And some people gave it some time and now there use to the SF4 te fight stick . I like the SF4 Tournament stick and here's why I feel its easier to do the special moves with the SF4 TE stick but hey thats just me =)

  • Thanks, I am a very good Gen player that's why. But thanks 4 d advice sweetie. x. I am gonna practice and whoop competition. LOL.

  • Seth Killian is the "oooh oh fireball oohh fireball" commentator guy when Poongko played against Daigo.

  • I got the TE Stick, will never play street fighter on xbox360 any other way. It helped me step my game up alot.

  • The market for sticks in the us is low hehe.

  • The price is the cause. If it was like 60~80, we'd have a huge buyout.

  • piece of junk...!!!

  • The madcatz controller pad fucking sucks. It just broke out of the blue. It didn't even last a month.

  • so your sayin a regular controller is better?

  • Yeah, don't bother with the madcatz controller. The xbox 360 and PS3 controllers are just as good and won't randomly break.

  • thanks for the heads up i was thinking about buying a madcatz controller

  • i want a stick dat resembles chun li's leg and the buttons her nipples oh yea now i'll be up all nyt playin streetfighter lol

  • u're a fockin loser, rofl.

  • ohhhhh ..... fockity fock fock

  • I hate how on the Madcatz site FAc they say you can only send tyou fihtstick back if the scratches are really bad so many are reporting scratched TE fight sticks their quality control is the worst I have ever heard off even on their own site them mention the scratches their guys should be spotting these and sorting them out before they get shipped out.

  • ya baby, oh ya chun li fight pad baby you dig, uh ya... uh ya, ohhhhhhhhhhhh ya, uhmph YA OH YES, OHHHHHH YES, wait their sold out??? damnit Gamestop, WHAT? NO I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT HALO WARS FUCK THAT SHIT!!! so if anyone has successfully beat the HARD Trials, any of them with the game pads, let me know

  • Got my Chun Li and my Ken pads yesterday! It reminds me of the sega days and works well with Sonic Ultimate Genesis collection too.

  • my ps3 pad is so hard to use lol.. i keep haduken when i wanna upper cut...i keep goin on my ps menu too accidently, well frustratin deffo gonna get a tournament stick when there next available

  • fucking hell man, the tournament fighting sticks were sold out as soon as they were announced >.>

  • the interview was kind of ackward gay to be exact.

  • THIS MUSIC SUCKS!!!!

  • I find the fight stick so damn difficult

  • tell me about it

  • is that a porno beat? (in the background)

  • that's the music Alma Wade plays when she wanna get her freak on.....

  • Wow. May need to fire the guy who thought porno music went well with an interview.

  • lmao.

  • for like a 150quid which is steep...but quality. My only peeve is....why the fuck is it not wireless? Like technology is too weak or somethin? What a goddamn shame man! Sorry, won't buy it. Fuck thats gay!

  • Sigh.

  • its actually GOOD that its not wireless because then you would have to worry about the battery dying at the wrong time or it not synching up or what ever. but i understand your grief because at the same time, i'm not tryin to be all up on my tv like that, ya know. but i was happy when i got mine, i'm trying to find some light up buttons for it to jazz it up. i'm loving it, the responsiveness is INSANE and you can set the button senstivity if you want.

  • Im realy considering buying the fightstick, even thou i dont play a lot of fighting games. But it will be great for SFIV and Tekken 5 in the future, and diferent kind of XB-live arcade games.

And im pretty sure u conect it to a computer (every 360 object that i own works on my mac) and use it as a gamepad to play emulated games.

    It might be worth getting.

  • i got 360 and im happy to use the 360 controller, once i adjust it ofcourse,no need to buy a fucking billion dollar fight stick.

  • I couldn't watch this thanks to that annoying fucking music in the background.

  • i like that music its GROOVY BABY YEA!!

  • They don't have enough fightpads! I'm not buying SF 4 without 1 because the 360 controller is useless!

  • Same Here! haha ure right it is kind of usless.

  • "Only ship within US." FUCKING BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHA BITCH

  • I want a Dan controller pad.

  • learn2mixaudio

  • i picked up my sticks today and was dissappointed by the quality of the arcade fight stick. i should have gotten the tournament stick. the joy stick o nthe arcade stick functions in a 'square' rather than a round circle movement for joystick.

  • Seth is holding on to the Sticks for dear life, considering their sold out everywhere.

  • I've been waiting for this type of review so I can know what I'm buying.

  • whats with the porn music ....then again he has used the word sexy a few times must be the beard!!

  • LMAO,

I was thinking the same exact thing.

Wow, if controllers deserve porn music, just imagine what a Flat screen tv would have O_O

  • Are these still available anywhere? I want the sanwa buttons so bad :)

  • deanm furegtryti furthy sicrtiter diuff oktre jfswqertrt bighytoihj loanfgihj bea n bean strret figter 4

  • Damn, I'm gonna try and get one for my ps3 too.

  • yeah you're gonna definately need one for the ps3 especially lol

  • i have a ps3 wanna play me in street fighter 4

  • oh i dont have a ps3 unfortunately. i have a 360. you got the joystick or pad for the ps3? cuz it would be hard pulling moves out on the default controller

  • Im getting the standard fight stick

  • for those who dont know pads are wired! heh but who cares right?

  • the last stick is mine the 20th!!!!

    waiting!!!!!!!!!

  • I woke up this morning and found this huge box by my front door. Not expecting any packages anytime soon, I opened it and couldn't believe it! My PS3 TE Fightstick came in way earlier than I thought! Woooohooooo!

  • you ordered from gamestop right? i think they sent them out early

  • Yeah via Barnes and Noble. I was expecting to get it after SFIV came out.

  • are the higher end ones wireless cause that could make me buy it

  • Wireless is not the way to go for a fight stick. The wire is to prevent the latency that wireless controllers suffer from.

  • loool at the controllers...im getting this for ps3 then.

  • Well I wonder what kinda style the stick is. I wouldn't mind if it was a hori.

  • It's not hori. Did you watch the video?

    Madcatz man, Madcatz.

  • oh man i cant w8t to get this arcade stick so bad lol

  • why does the cheaper one look cooler???

  • That background music is REALLY annoying! lol

  • I was gonna say, the background music sounds like it's from some bad porno!

  • lol, so you watch porno, bad ones at that...???

  • You got me!

  • i like how heavy the TE stick is. the last thing i want is my arcade stick flying around my lap while i play.

  • Luckily I pre-ordered the regular fightstick yesterday. The TE is out of my price range, but that would definitely be awesome to own.

  • i just want that fight pad the stick is cool but i never got hooked fromt the arcade i got hooked fromthe consoles sega, snes

    ect.

  • I wonder if the regular arcade stick can be replace teh inside too like TE. Of course Madcats rep will say NO cuz they want us to buy the TE, lol. But let see.

  • Depends on the room inside and in the case of the buttons, what size they are. I don't see why not, might not be as easy as with the TE stick though. If it can be done, you can be sure SOMEONE will put a guide up for other people to see how it's done.

I've just managed to pre-order a regular one, after looking everywhere for a site taking pre-orders again. It's been a night mare. It'll take some getting used to, having used pads for so long, but it should be worth it.

  • For me, is teh original fightstick is sanwa, i can just replace teh parts if anything broken, thats all. They just should made all end plug all USB universal in that way to be able to switch from X360 to PS3 etc. But i guess, they wanna make more money by spliting them apart. lol And i did teh same like u try to order TE or even regular one and its all Sold Out.

  • I want the 360 fight stick. I'm willing to train myself to work it

  • wow, they labeled the pinouts on the TE. nice

  • I totally just reserved that fight stick.. :) oh, and there was like 4 left...

  • The arcade sticks look fantastic, but aren't for me. Despite my predilections for fighting games, I could never fully utilize arcade sticks. Control pads will always be for me.

I wonder if there will be a control pad for the PC version. That would be really nice. If not, I might want to invest in a usb adapter that lets you use Playstation 2 controllers on a PC. I would hope that such an adapter would work responsively for the game.

Thank you. Your SF4 videos have all been great. Gen FTW!

  • The 360 Fightpads will work on a PC

  • I am thinking of pre ordering a street fighter pad for the 360 from play-asia, but the problem is my xbox is (PAL), not (NTSC) and on play-asia it says compatible for the US would it work on my 360(PAL) also or just (NTSC) 360s?

  • controllers are universal

  • damn dude. I want that arcade stick! but it's kinda expensive..

but.. I did reserve that Ken controller.

I think the pad's are gonna great for the 360

  • did you get off of amazon or somewhere else because other sites have the pads and ship them earlier and for the same price but don't have the Ken pad. can you help me out?

  • is sf4 only for 360

  • for ps3 too. poodles

  • nah

  • I will rape your dog.

  • says the Halo zombie.

  • i could be wrong but i allways found my genesis to be best with mortal combat games and my super nes dpad to be best for street fighter games, this Dpad looks just like a normal 360 dpad and my 360 pads stop working after a few months cause i love doa4, please tell me this pad will rock as im not to sure it will, if you know about this type of thing and your not just talking as if you know, then please tell me im wrong.

  • PS3 would be easier

    than the 360 controller.

  • does anyone know the best place to pre-order? I checked my local GAMESTOP and they were sold out

  • try a game crazy it should be in a hollywood videos store thats where i reserved mine at. not a lot of people shop at game crazy

  • These look like the coolest Street Fighter controllers/arcade sticks that have ever been made.

  • The XBOX 360 D-Pad is SO trash If u want to seriously play streetfighter 4... Ur almost forced to buy another stick

  • For leisure play none of these are wireless. Building your own stick is the best way to go. Even if you dont care for wireless you can always plug in a cable. Of course this guy isnt going to say building your own is the best because im sure he gets paid from the sticks sales. Booo you gets no play Chunli me luv u long time though.

  • fucking geek

  • im going to kick a lot of butt

  • so the tournement stick is this a 8 way stick or a 4 way? i couldnt tell on this video and cant find any info on that.. love how it looks and all really expensive i might have to build my own or mod my hori one.

  • 8 buttons, 2 rows, and 4 buttons in each row

I got mine preordered wonder how much theyll be worth theres only like 3000 or something

  • They are the best controllers ive ever seen, Really good quality. Pre Orders are selling fast.

  • Am not gona even be botherd with those sticks if thats the case then imma get the tournoment one but.. i hav a feeling i wont be good with the sticks i lov my ps3 contoller soo am use to that then them type of sticks

  • im gonna use the 360 one for my cpu

  • while i like the Joysticks,i probably won't get them on my B-day and since i only have Anniversary Collection on my ps2,it's going to take me a while to get used to my 360 controller.

  • Also, even though I'll be sticking to my 360 controller (The D-pad sucks but the joystick is good) The sticks will help out alot more in serious fights, mainly when dashing and rolling. I would get annoyed by the buttons though since i got used to my own layout on 360. Jabpunch=X, Jabkick=A, Strongpunch=Y, Strongkick=B, Fiercepunch=LT, Fiercekick=RT.

  • wow

  • i would buy this fighting stick but idk if it has a mic input like the 1 for the hori stick?

  • Dude, I am 99% positive that it has a mic input. Hell, I think it's require for all versions of controllers for 360 to have a mic input. I've NEVER seen a controller for 360 (1st party or 3rd party) that doesn't have a mic input.

  • Why they dont make the buttons line up straight like in the arcade??

Cuz its kinda messed the rhythm when u switch palying form home and to teh arcade. Cuz teh home is kinda curve instead of straight horizontal

  • That's why you have those 2 black buttons on the right end. If you want them American style (straight), just re-map the buttons to the 4 white buttons and 2 black buttons. The far left white buttons are the only ones what are curved.

  • They need to make a Street Fighter IV style stand that the stick can attach too. Anyone who's played on a stick can attest to them jumping around when thing's get heated.

  • The tournament edition stick is heavy enough to prevent that happening.

  • I want some reviews on the gamepad. i miss my Sega Saturn D-Pad

  • are the buttons and the stick the same in the tournament edition and the non tournament edition? same parts?

  • don't think so, he doesn't say. but i am going to end up buying the regular fight stick than the tournament edition because it's cheaper and i'll probably put sanwa buttons in it.

  • thats a good idea. how much do you think the sanwa buttons cost? where are you going to buy them?

  • the tournament edition are sanwa parts while i'm not sure what the standard edition is made out of. however, you can replace the standard edition with sanwa parts if you want.

  • DO WANT

  • thos sticks look amazing.

  • im gonna stay with my joystick

  • me and my TE stick have some long nights ahead of of. feb. 17 cant come soon enough.
