Saab was going to put a better dash board in where the smooth flat black panel is now in its place, but due to a falling out and shortage of parts they were not able to get the originally planned dash into the 9-5 which would infact look a lot better. Go look at the 9-5 pre-production car videos here on youtube or google it and the interior one had a texture and was going to be soft material. Hirsch performance (A Saab performance company) has an leather dash to put in if you should wish.
"the type font looks old" oh please... that is intentional. saab is maintaining its traditional aircraft legacy and to me the green type font fits well into the night navigation mode unique to all saabs.
and talking about making a concept car into reality.man you know how much actually it cost just by doing that ? it cost audi 600 million dollar for them to bring TT into market it worked cus audi has the money. saab they dont and they should seriously thinking about cutting the risk factor down by doing small, cut down the production lines, close dealership that doesnt do well it's the only way to save them.. just like any other business when you hit the bottom go back to how u started go small
the cheap plastic they've being using them since 04 sab 9-3 sedan i have to say what the fuck is wrong with them installing the same material over and over on such a fine looking car it's so sad they treated saab like this. and the price tag jesus christ i could get bmw 6 in second hand almost brand new condition, no wonder saab dnt sale well. i owned a 9-3 convertible, love it, but what to do to saab is genocide they just leave them to rot
I haven't got a saab yet - but on the parking I always look at them. I admit that they are not as good at handling at germans - not hi tech. I admit they are little 1980 s - but U know what ? I don't care.

Stuck new struts and springs in my 97.. Rides better than this '11 I swear

Can this review be any more cynical yet totally anecdotal? I suspect not. We have a 2011 95 sedan and it is a great car. We received a great deal for our money with plenty of incentives by the dealer. The value far exceeds the competition.
