Very nice music and good text. My first impression of the song was not very nice since I live in Russia, but actually a lot of truth in the song. Beer with us really bad, but delicious food at home only.

About Chris vodka is not right, not all Russian vodka drink. I drank vodka once many years ago. In Russia, we drink alcohol less than in Europe ... in any case not more.

Then, as a russian native I certainly assert that almost all of the people in Russia even including all of the hardly clear-headed persons dont consider this text impolite. Most likely It is hardly to believe for you, but it is absolute truth. Be sure. Russians have quite peculiar polite sense. That is too difficult to explain shortly, I'm sorry.

Well he says that the Beer is Lousy and the Food is Worse ..... Singing about Moscow? I know is about the cold war, but still, it could sound impolite when you're singing in the same city this song is criticizing?? I don;t think Chris did it in a bad way but the message is very clear. His album Man on the Line is in my longlong list of favorites in number 5, one of my fav of all time. Still is an eccentrincity in Chris repertoire, that's not his tipycal style. Lady in red came right after that.
