  • Much Props and Respect to Clyde Stubblefield!

  • WOO, that snare hand is funky, damn

  • look at that snare in the live footage. thats the fuckin snare!!

  • I think that's the main point. Musicians wants their respect not their money (as does any other musician who is sampled). If your not willing to put their name in the credits, and recognize him/her as the artist you sampled, you should be fined.

DJ's and Producers should do more research... maybe find the name of the actual artist their sampling? I don't know just the thought.

  • :15 I'm gonna sample that- how about that.

  • young kids should know there once was good black music where it went to i dont know

  • What about who wrote the composition for the drum patterns. he deserves his cut too if you want to be fair. He deserves some financial compensation, I agree but at the same time writing credit is more important and it's these record companies that should be cutting him a check not the rapper because every business has an accountant.

  • He should be paid.

  • THANK YOU CLYDE

i really appreciate your work. send me your info ill send you a pizza. im not a sampler but feel your pain

  • Man, I'd hire Clyde in a heartbeat! Might be fun to take over a DJ night with...LIVE music. What a concept!
