  • Mozart at his best. And also, Mozart that sounds so much like Haydn in these last two movements. Wonder if this was written around the time that he dedicated some of his string quartets to Haydn?

  • Hey now, I noticed that they repeat in the third movement after the Da Capo! I'm not sure if that's an error or that's what they normally did back in Mozart's time...

  • @thisisntagoodname Yes, it was customary, up until the middle of the 19th century, to observe all repeats, even after a da capo.
