My opinion: I don't know why they say the Gipsies came from Egypt. Original Egyptians are the Coptics and they don't look much like the Coptics. In fact, only 10 percent of Egyptians are Coptics. eighty five percent or more are arabs who moved over into egypt during the spread of islam. they are not attached to the pharoahs. Gipsies are probably either indo-iranian stock or maybe even turkish who because they are nomadic, could have been in egypt at one time and then moved into europe.

@vtvargo it's a country that have 2 faces...you have to go there to see it. there is beautifull and warm sea, great places for vacation, pyramids, giza plateau and so and so....but when i was in the desert, on a desert safari trip i have seen how difficult is to live in the desert, and the beduins actually live there. I have no idea why it says "Gypsy Kings" in the topic. First it is written "Gipsy Kings" and second I don't know what is the connection.

I think the name of the piece is Gypsy. Lord of the Dance is right, there is a need to check who are the creators and performers of this music.
