Barry White had some great "love" songs but must of that is because Barry is singing those songs..Remember Issac Hayes was a staff writer for Stax records , he wrote tunes like "Hold On I'm Coming" , "Thank You " , "Soul Man" , "You Don't Know Like I Know" etc , etc...Ike also wrote great arrangements for pop tunes like "Walk On By" , "Never Can Say Goodbye" , "The Look of Love" , "Ain't No Sunshine" etc , etc...Hey I gave props to Barry's singing , but Ike was a better composer/arranger
