I often think i'm not hearing them right. That and their style of breakcore is NOT my preferred genre. I hear the genius in pretty much everything they're doing. I'm just more inclined toward tracks like Szamár Madár (donkeyboner!) and less inclined to, say, the Winnepeg series.

But this track is pretty brilliant... The time signature alone is very pleasant.

What VS is trying to do is very similar to what Squrepussher is trying to do. They are both trying to make the rhythm the melody instead of just the beat or the classical sense of the meaning 'rhythm'. No wonder it sounds slightly odd...it is unconventional stuff, and to those you dont like it, or think it's too percussion heavy, its meant to be that way and it takes some getting used to.
