@peeerrr Padand Padang is on the Bukit Peninsula in between Uluwatu and Bingdin. It's a 15 minute drive from Uluwatu. It's rare for the surf to be big enough to ride at Pandang Padang and Bingdin and requires a big swell but Uluwatu is always pumping. The reefs are scary at all three locations.

Its were I learned to surf. Well, actually I learned on Nusa Lembongan, a 2 hour boatride south of bali. The playgrounds wave on Lembongan is perfect for beginners, and all the hotels line the beach, you can see the break from your hammock. Paradise.

well pro surfers learned how to surf in Hawaii so why cant you? Hawaii is a really fun place for surfing! i started surfing two years ago and after my second lesson of surfing(my dad taught me how) we wet on a trip to Hawaii for surfing and i had blast... I was in the shore-pound but i got a pretty wave every once in a while when i felt tough enough to go out another four feet... :P

Gosh I love Bali. It is the best place to go for vacation. I've been to Phuket ( Thailand ) & Langkawi ( Malaysia ) but still I feel that Bali is the best. dude i just got back from bali and i surfed uluwatu padang padang dreamland kuta jasuri and some other beach and i gotta say the surf is just amazing!!! everyone the trip over there is worth it and if you can get over there you have to surf uluwatu dreamland and padang padang and also if you can try surf airport right and left (right has right hander waves left...)
