do you have any video for the person who can speak fluent urdu / hindi (like what changes to make if using punjabi instead)??...i have trouble with this bc i keep comparing it too much to urdu and end up just saying the urdu version by mistake
Thank you so much for these videos, my bf is indian and i want to suprise him by learning punjabi when he isnt around... :) this helps heaps THANK YOU SO MUCH !!
Are these the correct spellings in all these vids. They arent the 'sound' spellings are they, they are the 'actual' spellings of punjabi. Im a Brit Engligh girl, would love to talk punjabi - shock my friends & b/frnd. x
Hi, my friend and his parents speak punjabi and I would really like to learn some more verbs conjugations so I might be able to eventually have a regular conversation with them in punjabi. I saw one video from you that had 3 verbs, I think. If you have posted anymore or could post anymore that would be great. Also, sentence formations would help a bunch. It's apparent that sentences are not quite formed the same as in english. And getting a start in how they're typically set up would be rather
This is awesome! I run a housing community in which 95% of the residents are Punjabi, many of whom do not speak English very well. These phrases will help me out tremendously at work (if I can ever get the pronounciations correct)
@tackmeasuria "Han" is the formal version. It is how you write "are." So when the people on the news are speaking, they are trying t o speak "proper" writing-style speech. Normal casual speech uses "ne" instead. (Or, different stuff like "hain" and "aa" in various dialects.) "Haa~" = "(I) am"
Please could you post a video with some tips on common phrases you would use when meeting someone's family? My husband-to-be is Sikh and most of his family speak Punjabi only (no English). I'm learning Punjabi, but some phrases I could use to introduce myself and my family to them would be very helpful! Also if you could post some phrases on how to say what someone does for a job (eg: "I am a doctor, etc") that would be wonderful!
