  • YES! FU&*!N' YES! At one point i thought he was gonna fly off into the sky and explode into a Double Rainbow and i'd be like OMG it's a DOUBLE RAINBOW! But he just nailed all the way to the top! Damn good sh*t. Only other place make me feel like that is the Nurburgring. Love the dual surfaces. Porsche 911 Forever...there is No substitute.

  • Wow! Absolutely amazing. Porsche cup cars are incredible. The drivers concentration level to navigate this course is just brilliant. The in car camera was excellent. And thanks for not covering it with an audio track.

  • this is a true ball buster of a drive, the single can, real sound and jeff's hands make it awesome! deserving of a record!

  • ivojiggy could not agree with you more!fucking hell they are shit these days!!! 11 min 31 sec with a 450 hp porsche on i think about 60 % tarmac vs 9.51 on gravel with+no matter+ group b or not,a old car with old suspension, brakes gearbox! competition level is very low

  • Damn dangerous track, if u loose controll their, you're dead, on the nordschleife you luckily can't crash down a whole mountain

  • up till now i didnt kno of anybody who drove de 911 cup car on dirt. pretty amazing stuff.

  • 11:26 i would start questioning if there even is a turn or if its my very own launch pad

  • 911 GT3 RS

  • great driving

  • Is that a traditional manual gearbox? It looks like it's some sequential gearbox, since it shifts so fasts and he just pushes the gear lever forwards or backwards...

  • supposedly in gt5 spec 2.0 who else is pumped

  • when he down shifts it sounds like there's a guy in the gear box with a hammer bludgeoning the gears

  • when he down shifts it sounds like there's a guy in the gear box with a hammer bludgeoning the gears

  • what's this high pitch sound? i can hear it in every racing car, but not sure about what causes it

  • @ugandist Straight cut gears.

Same sound you here when you put yours in reverse cause that's a straight cut gear as well.

  • wonder what tires he's using..

  • after about 11 or 12000 feet, most people get one hell of a headache. Happens to me every time I climb Mount Shasta

  • God is always wtaching you : 04:31 Austin-Healey 3000 ;)

  • no, he's definitely just double clutching, but without putting it in neutral because of the electronic gearbox

  • holy shit how can a RR layout car go on dirt!?!?!? THATS SUICIDALL :DD i love porsche :)

  • W. Röhrl in 1987(lol) Audi quattro 600hp - 10:47,85 (100% GRAVEL!!)

    Tajima in 2011 with 1007cv (407hp more then Röhrl) - 9:51,278 (50% ASPHALT!!)

    W. Röhrl in this days with all these conditions.....?

  • exceptionnel !

  • Awesome!

  • When it gets to the dirt portion it sounds like it's a gas powered clothes dryer filled with BB's. At least it'll be nicely sand blasted and ready to paint when it gets to the top.

  • This run scared the crap out of me when the road went from asphalt to dirt. The fans being so near the road looked pretty scary also.

  • Pikes Peak+Rear weheel drive car=suicide

    suicide=fun

    fun= I WANNA DO IT!!!!!

  • Balls of steel...

  • @TrackRat044 The way the transmission in the GT3 cup is designed, you just pull back on the gear lever to upshift, transmission handles everything. To downshift, you push in the clutch which matches revs then push the gear lever forward to complete the shift.

You're right though, it's an effort to make it last longer. You can downshift without the clutch as well but it's strongly not recommended by Porsche.

  • @BradKlodowski

There's no autoblipper in this car. If you watch his feet closely you can clearly see him heel-and-toe on the downshifts to match the revs in the lower gear, for example at 2:12

  • There is 3 pedals Oo

  • :D I can do better then that....very nice ride.

  • I bet if you asked him, he wouldn't describe it as a scary drive. I think you need to have confidence in yourself at that level. Know you can do it, not be 'scared'.

  • 220 likes and 1 dislike Lol the one dislike is most likely the runner up on the race. :p

  • almost lost it at 10:30

  • no video on tajimas record race..?

  • @TrackRat044 Ooooooooh. that makes sense. I looked in the video and see the drivers legs moving like they would to engage or disengage a clutch though. Any theories on that?

  • how come all transmissions can't have a shifter like that? It looks allot simpler shifting up in one direction and down in the opposite than a traditional H pattern style. There would be no mis-shifts that way.

  • 1 guy didn't liked the video... he was the old record man /o/

  • Damn that is scary. I love how the put straw up against the guard rails but don't put anything in front of most of the sheer cliffs.

Also, it's amazing how hard he has to drive that car to prevent it from killing him.

  • Also, amazing work without a codriver.

  • yeah! grand tourizmo! )) supertroopper

  • faster than when i went i n a motorhome!

  • To mawerick 024....the 911 has inherent understeer ....that is why the nose runs wide...you gas it and correct the slide.I think you have it backwards....

  • too bad they paved the most of the road...half fun gone...

  • Car sounds awesome

  • warp speed engaged

  • Just wow...

  • i wanna see walter rohrl, drive this car....with a regular 6spd. gearbox..

  • Porsche style! Let the nose run wide, floor it in the middle of the bend and correct the oversteer

  • @Mawerik024 Yeah Porsche is like a dragon, if you can drive it you are the fastest and if not, you can find yourself falling into the ditch soon

  • 9:00 close call

  • Porsche would likely get more marketing if a 911 finished 5th in a WRC event than Loeb finishing 1st.

  • I was just walkin down to take a pee, when this car came past,a moment I shall never forget,it was the run of the day as far as I am cincerned, people, you should have heard this machine go by from 15 ft,it puts shivers everywhere, lol.

  • Wow! Props, awesome driver! I'd trust his driving with my life

  • Some men can drive and some are Gods. I'm speechless.

  • Love the sound of that whining tranny! Sounds awesome!

  • i wont go fass like heem

  • Damn that sounds good with headphones on! Someone kiss the engineers at Porsche and give Jeff a cigar. Phenomenal driving.

  • This video should have way more hits than this.

  • Nice!!

  • just WOW !

  • GREAT stuff!

  • Dat Gearbox Whine.

  • What Joey said haha Awesome view of all the action!

  • it's really cool to see the whole time trial in cockpit view!

must be one of the scariest drives of his life :D
