Mina, the nicest orangutan who ever did live in Sumatra

Well Mina has attacked my group in August 2010! She jumped from the trees and bitten one girl, then she turned and started scretching another one. That was a bad experience. better if you don't meet her when you're in the jungle.

We met mina in 2000. She had a child clung to her and went after us whilst on a trek, swinging through the tree's screaming, and nashing teeth. The guides showed us where she'd bitten them and clamed she'd injured/killed a british tourist. We had a great time there and always tell the mina story. Bukit Lewang is a must see
