  • AWESOME !!!!

  • Y este pajuo con ese avioncito, que bolas...

  • You like Max because you think you're as good as Max or deserve to be as good as he is. ....!!! VAIN.

  • Wow, that's a bit more detailed than the Matchbox Veritech I used to have! :)

  • a bit more way more nothing can compete with yamato

  • There are a lot of pieces that just pop off while you're trying to transform. The wing flaps, vents under the chest, the two flaps that fold out on the side when in Battroid mode and heat shield pop off way too easy. These are just annoying flaws since you can easily pop them back on but they are ANNOYING. I'm actually impressed watching this video of the transformation because nothing pops off for him but I can assure that when you have one, the things I mentioned pop off very easy.

  • my dad is going to get the one you are reviewing for me and cool review. i cant til i get mine.

  • The 1/60 Yamato Vylkaries are the best in the world. The Takatoku,Bandai and Toynomi version suck.Yamato 1/48 scale ones had some design flaws but Yamato learned from their mistakes when the 1/60 scales starting coming out. watch iut for the nes 1/60 VF-1S Roy Focker with or without the Super Strike parst its amazing

  • I very interested in getting one of these figure, but I'm curious. How much of the figure is diecast?

  • Great review! Even thou I have watched both parts of it, i just have to ask if the tailfins can be folded both ways, and not always right one under the left one(when viewed from behind the plane)?

  • I need to know if Yamato or anyone other than Medicom makes the Metal Gear Solid toys.

  • And where's the engine?? How can these jets fly and do all those fancy transformations without any engine or electronics?

  • Hafnium Nucleonic Thermonuclear turbine engines, in the legs.

They gather a level of energy that dwarfs existing fighters so they don't actually need large engines.

  • I didn't see that explanation coming. It's good actually. I'm impressed.

Now, I'd be more impressed if you'd do a video review on the new Medicom 12" and 7" old snake toylines....hmmm??

  • Im from Portugal how can I get this??? plz someone tell me how

  • Ha, I have two of it, totally brand new. I bought the Movie version, too.

It's too late now. They're not in production anymore. And boy are they juicy toys. The HIGHEST QUALITY I'VE SEEN YET.

  • well.. boy.. their not out of prduction caus ive just osdered mine (july/4/2008)

  • Really? I hear that they are limited editions. You must've rebought a previously released one, maybe. Or who knows. They re-rellesed the Roy Fokker once. They probably are doing it again.

Either way, mine is brand new still in the box. I have two 1/48 max's and all the DRYL, three 5 inch toynami's, and one YF-19 AND ZERO MODEL. NEVER TOUCHED. Just received them from the delilvery truck and tucked them away. BRAND NEW.

Tell me about the Metal Gear Solid toylines.

  • yeah just about 20 min ago :D but mine is the 1/60 scale so probably ur right :S

sorry I dont know about metal gear solid toys but u could look on hobbylink japan

  • I missed out on the Yamato 1/60 DYRL versions, but I hear that you need to DETACH the legs inorder to transform them.

The smaller size makes it seem to be easier to play with. The bigger models make them more to pose and watch like a statue.

I hope you get a brand new 1/48 DYRL or the 1/60 YF-19 or ZERO's or the TV versions. The ZERO is super high quality. I've never seen such high qaulity toys / models before. Amazing.

  • Which one did you get? Where'd you buy it from? HLJ?

  • I've ordered th 1/60 VF-0A but having to detach the legs kinda sucks xD

  • thanks :)

  • got mine on ebay for 113.36 today (24 June 2008) i think it's great.

  • i just ordered my 1/48 VF-1J stealth color scheme at hobbylink japan for just $76.00**. hope i does not take long to arrive at my place.

  • It's $76 because they've probably been returned.

  • I would like to get one of these to replace my Jetfire that my brother broke. Just a little intimidated by the price. Course complete G1 jetfires arn't exactly cheep either.

  • The Bandai reissues are much cheaper and still pretty nice for the value...check out my review of the VF-1A released by them...best, Ryan

  • I need your opinion on the new Medicom Metal Gear Solid toylines, mainly the 12" old snake. Thanks.

  • Ummm.. I cant give that toy ou because I didnt not know then existed till you said something about them...

  • you have the macros zero vf-0s review???

wich you think is beter because i want to get one but im not sure if i get the 1/48 or the 1/60 from macross zero in the roy focker version, thanks

  • I meant new opened, not new opened.

  • ...skyfire?

  • also if you get the 25th aniversary the change some stuff like a die cast swivles instead of plastic and it looks cool nice paint job also i got mines today

  • oh and why dose the nose have the twist motion built in it

  • how do you put the piolet in i got the 25th aniversery and i dont want to force it butcan you tell me how to put in the piolet

  • WICH ONE IS BETTER THIS ONE OR MACROSS REVOLTECH 034 - VALKYRIA VF-1J THat doesn´t transform?

  • Today my VF-1A Masterpiece just came in the mail. That's something else you might want to look up to go with your Robotech collection as well.

  • No, I had the displeasure of owning one of those for about 1 day. Toynami in general is a waste of money. They pretty much have the worst QC I've ever seen in any line they have ever done (except there Voltron was decent). But thanks for the thought. - Atom

  • Dear Atom & CollectionDX, this is one of my favorite toy reviews right next to the Garlands. You have plans to do a video review of the SDF-1 Macross made by Yamato? 2nd, Is the Yamato SDF-1 toy the same size as the TF G1 Metroplex toy I wonder? Anyway...AAA+++ and thanks for giving me advice for my toy problem last month.

    -Rodimus

  • what a magnificent toy dude i wish i had it when i was i child

  • Nice review as ever!

  • Congrats on getting a 1/48. Don't forget to buy the Fast packs for them. They look ten times better with them on!

  • Will see what Santa brings me and if he forgets I'll grab a set after Christmas. :) Thanks for watching. -Atom

  • where can i get this?do they sell them in canada?i have no idea what the show is about but that toy looks cool!!!can you tell me more about the show? and do they sell them in canada?

  • Yamato made that toy, so it's from Macross (japanase version). Yamato never did toys for Robotech.

  • That is beautiful. Are you planning to get Roy's VF-1S?

  • Probably not. though I may try his version from Macross Zero. But that's a few months away I think.- Atom

  • how much? I WANT!!

  • They average from $135-$165. I got my VF-1S Roy for $150

  • Awsome!, Finally someone did a Valkyrie's Review!

    Niceeeeee :D

  • owesome i thought they where a little less complex

  • thats owesome
