the same happened to me.. today so i called my phone company and they said after you try to unlock your puk code so many times your sim card becomes damaged so all you need to do is get a new sim card then use the code they gave you

@hbk5520 There's no way you can guess the right PUK code for your SIM, If you finish all your attempts, that Sim will become useless. Just call your service provider now and stop guessing the code.

@hbk5520 Not that i know of, except calling your phone service or where you bought the Sim. That's what i did, They will only ask for your ID to make sure you are the real owner, they will reset your Sim passwords to 0000....I don't know if they also give you the PUK code (I didn't ask for the PUK code).

I lost my phone after a while, I now have new Phone and new SIM and i kept the main card.

I learn my lesson with this puk problem...

When you buy a new sim card, make sure you keep the card where the sim is removed from in a safe place. Your puk code is located on that card.

If you enter wrong password 3 times, it will then ask you for the puk code.

yupp, thats what happened to me, and i was stupid and tried to guess the code 10 times and ruined my SIM card. Now I have to wait till the store opens soon so I can get another freaking SIM card. My phone didn't even come with an owners manual to tell me what NOT to do!! UGH! stupid technology... >_>

u have to call customer support of your service provider and tell them that you need a puk code for your phone but dont keep trying by yourself or after 10 failed attempts you are completely locked out!!!!!!!then and only then you have to get another sim card, hope this helps

Customer Service won't help you. On AT&T's website, they just say that after ten times of failed attempts of pushing in the numbers, they just say its invalid and you need to get another SIM card.

the EXACT same thing happened to my phone....i have an lg neon and i was messing with it and then the puk code thing showed up....i called customer service and the lady was stupid....she gave me a number and told me to put that in....so i did...and it didnt work....so she said id have to buy a new sim card....well i went out and got a cheap go phone since that's what i have and they come with sim cards......but when i put it in my lg neon fone it says no sim card inserted......now that's gay!

If you have corr wirless you have to go and they will enter the PUK code.. thats what happend to mine like 4 time already and i just went and they entered the code!!
