LOL you have a typhoon? Those are the worst things ever made. Sure they are kinda quick, but why would you want to go that fast in a plastic sled that wont turn or stop. They are way better quality than any American car. I agree the fast and the furious is horrible and most rices are gay. But Japanese cars are great, not fast by any means, but they are not junk. Find a GMC that can last 1/3ed as long as a Acura or Lexus.

Granted GM cars in the 80's and 90's were kind of plasticy and cheap but that didnt mean they were junk nor did it mean that they were unreliable Japanese cars dont run forever and if anything i would say the best cars are the German cars not acura or lexus(toyota) they will outlast any toyota plus most of the toyotas in the 80's and 90's were rust buckets that fell apart after a few years including all the other japanese cars that were built with cheap pot metal and such

KIND OF PLASTICY??? thats all the interior is, go look in one now, they still are that way, that's why they went bankrupt, their cars were crap. I've had BMW's, and Acuras. the 15 year old Acura I used to have was way more reliable than a 2 year old M3. My old neighbor had a Lexus with almost 400k miles on it and never had a problem with it. German cars are notoriously unreliable! The raw mechanics of them are good, but they always have little problems because they are loaded with technology.

yeah and kind of plasticy most of the trucks interior is either leather or carpet it was only the knobs and surrounds the were cheap plastic that made them look cheap plus i would much rather have a brand new bmw today than a toyota or gm car for that matter plus the reason why gm went into bankruptsy is from the the benefits they offered their workers that they could comply with in a bad market not the niceness of the cars. somewhat true but i think that the hundreds of thousands of people they forced retirements on that they didnt need or couldn't keep they now had to pay benefits along with retirement wages and lose money on fewer car sales plus the economy taking a crapshoot. GM was also going into an auto industrial revolution at a very bad time. this is the same revolution that ford went into 2 years ago btw

oh and i dont know about unreliability of german cars ive owned my 1993 BMW 850CSI for 10 years put more than 60,000 miles on it i replaced my plugs for the first time and sensors at 135,000 miles it still had BMW on the spark plugs which is straight from the factory. granted it was expensive to fix which is like that for any german car thats their downside but unreliable isnt accurate that car has been more reliable than the 4 other cars i own right now my 1971 corvette 454 is in second also gm

You're right, old BMWs are very reliable! I was talking about new ones. I had a 97 M3 with 70k miles that needed 6,500 dollars worth of maintenace work in the 6 months that I owned it. And a 2002 with 20k miles that needed a 2,700 dollar brake job, and on several occasions wouldn't even start and had to be falt bedded to the shop.

its a bitch isnt it my 98 M3 was expensive but i just thought it was because the only driving i did was racing in that thing. The total cost after the car was finished i spent about 20,000 dollars i sold it to my father for 28,000 he races it now i took a 2,000 loss but thats worth the fun i had in it and god for bid when he passes, hopefully along time from now, it goes back to me again. i spent 2000 on a clutch and about 5000 on the complete brake system which was very expensive for brakes

Oh, yeah, your right, everyone knows american cars hold their value so well. Acura and Lexus have amazing resale value, everyone knows that. I'm sure you're buddy is not on his frist engine, and yours is probably about to blow lol. The 348's had a V8 with only 300 hp, not a V12. I bet anything it doesn't turn like a sports car, maybe good for a truck. Oh and I sold my "nip" car for a BMW M3.

Actually his motors was not about to blow it runs fine with no smoke or no leaks i did a compression test all at about 160 psi my motor was around the same and my mistake on the ferrari it was the the testerrosa not the 348 very similar from a distance. I know it does ive raced around the track i put bilstein shocks and elibach springs along with the polyeurathane bushings and dropped the truck two inches in the rear and 1 1/2 in the front the thing handles like a gocart

Then you must not have ever driven a car that can handle. Look up my other videos, if you think it handles like a go kart then why don't you meet me at the track ;) I can tell it wouldn't turn just by looking at the physics of it. It may handle well for what it is, but there is no way it could keep up with a sports car around a turn. 99% of people can't tell a car that handles well from one that doesn't, you said it has sloppy steering, that's part of the handleing.

actually i race cars daily i own a 1988 pontiac fiero gt with an all aluminum 6.3L LS3 V8 with polyurethane bushings, polyeurthane motor mounts elibach springs and koeing shocks with a 1 1/4 inch drop in the front and a 1/2 inch drop in the rear a 1 3/4 inch sway bar in the front 1 1/2 in the rear. The car does 0-60mph in 3.46 seconds and a quarter in 11.95. It hits G's excess to 1.1Race this car alot i have taken it to palm bay, palm beach international raceway and a couple others out of state

true handleing has something to do with the steering but the way the truck doesnt roll into the turns, nor feels heavy into the turns plus the understeer over steer of the truck almost perfect and the AWD system helps keep the +500hp to the ground. The truck is gutted and tuned to be a track car. I understand stock the truck couldnt handle near what sports car handles along with being built for drag racing, thats all been altered the only thing left to do is to change to rack n pinion steering

The only thing i dont like on the truck is the sloppy steering other wise when that is fixed it will be perfect. My truck sits lower than most cars too and how the fuck would you know how it handles youve never even probably driven one before. And btw i bet you anything i have that you can not find one japanese car that has held its value to even15,000 grand after 16 years. You wont find one toyotaor japanese car from the 70's that have held its value or doubled it value or any era japanese.

My 850CSI has held its value i bought it for 35,000 from a friend in Arkansas its worth probably about 50,000 now my 1971 corvette 454 LS6 convertible 4-speed car with every option but air which wasnt offered for the LS6 in 1971 i bought it for 18,000 worth about 50,000 if not more and going up plus it was 7500 back in 1971 granted that was alot than but still held its value if not gone up along with all the other GM muscle cars that have held its value if not gone up.
