  • he is doing more of a david tennant impression than being a new incarnation of the character. so as for being the 12th doctor , doubtful

  • What Doctor is this meant to be?

  • does this dr have any other piercings hed like to show??

  • should be the 12th doctor

  • this is something thats bugged me ...susan is a time lord too..if she got too old..she'd regenerate

  • @1942PANTHERV Susan isn't a timelord, she left gallifrey with her grandfather and was never inducted into the Timelord academy therefore she never recieved her symbiotic nuclei and could not link to the Rassilon Imprimatur

  • @Jez32uk i forget where it was..might have been a story in a dr who magazine..but they suggested that at the time the dr left gallifrey..there was a civil war on that deposed the ruling family.....decendents of rassilon...and that susan was really the last decendant of rassilon....something that could be covered in the future

  • @1942PANTHERV i think Lungbarrow by Marc Platt covered something similar to that but my comment about Susan never entering the Timelord Academy still stands as in The Sensorites her telepathic abilities were unfocused. Plus the Gallifreyans in the wastelands shown in the Invasion of Time lacked the ability to regenerate. The self imposed limit of 12 regenerations (13 incarnations) from The Deadly Assasin and Rassilon's ability to continually regenerate (The Five Doctors) suggest that the ability

  • @Jez32uk to regenerate is something given to timelords.

  • @Jez32uk ..you do have a point...but you know the old saying ..anything is possible in science fiction and fantasy....if they came up with a marvelous story..i'd listen..watch it...heck i'd love to see them regenerate the brigadier...though nicholas courtney was a fine brigadier..i feel the character is just too darn good to leave die,....we'll see..

  • I guess the gravestone and decripd look makes sense. Post 2150 Earth would look like the world of Hobo With a Shotgun!

  • i skipped torchwood for this :P

  • You inspired me to write a Doctor-Susan story and I am halfway through it already and it's looking pretty good! I actually cried when I first saw this. It's really moving. :'(

  • so sad T.T though I'm glad you put that Susan stayed with David.

  • Didn't Sarah Jane (R.I.P Elisabeth Sladen) say that there is a rumour that Susan is still alive and she hasn't aged? Why don't they cast an actress who looks like Carole Ann Ford to play her and have an episode in which Susan and The Doctor cross paths again?

  • @MBGamingLegends no she didn't say it was ian and barbara

  • @MBGamingLegends she mentioned that Ian and Barbara haven't aged, doubt she remembers Susan as Susan settled down in london post 2150 and the timelords probably erased her memory of the Black Tower in the death zone.

  • THIS IS AN IDEA..SUSAN IS ALSO A TIME LORD..SHE AGES TO A POINT WHERE SHE CAN'T EXIST AS SHE IS..SHE'LL REGENERATE

  • who is your faviorate doctor? mine is david or matt id like you to be the 12th doctor though

  • who is your faviorate doctor mine is david or matt id like you to be the 12th doctor though

  • Eww, what is that above your eye?

  • @alifeofreason Eyebrow piercing. Some people like them.

  • Wow this was good this is the first doctor who atemmpt that i loved well done!

  • ... and did the whole biological transformation into a being like a human and hid while the war took place. I doubt a planet of geniuses would put all their time lords in one place, making them the biggest target in existence. I just don't see how that could happen. Seeing as that is so unlikely, it would be a cool idea to have a time lord assassin- trying to hunt down any survivors.

Of course, I haven't seen a lot of the old episodes so I don't know how everything played out exactly.

  • I'm thinking with the impression given to the audience that Susan could not come back. But I'm sure the writers could find a way to do so. So many years have gone by for the doctor- wouldn't it be possible that Susan was discovered by another time lord and taken back to gallifrey so that she could receive her 13 lives? This way it might imply that she might have fought in the war. I also have a theory that not every timelord is brave enough to fight in a war, maybe some ran away.....

  • whats by your eye

  • This is great. I jumped a bit at about 04:20 xD

  • These episodes never fail to entertain. Brilliant script, acting and dialogue, as always.

  • The Doc with an eyebrow ring and a ear tunnel... COOL! Excellent video as well!

  • The Doctor with an eyebrow piercing and an earring.

I just don't see it, no offense.

Anyway, she was a Time Lady, she wouldn't have died in 40 years time.

  • @98Clank98 Susan Foreman was never given a regeneration cycle by the Time Lords, but she still would have lived for en exceptionally long time. Perhaps, if she were to have been seen to die, then David Campbell (the man she was left with in The Dalek Invasion Of Earth) would have made up an appropiate birth date to be used on her tombstone, so as not to arouse suspicion.

  • @98Clank98

If the Doctor is killed before he could regenerate, he stays dead.

    The same goes for Susan.

  • i actualy realy liked this if you were to play as doctor who i would start watching it again

  • Really good, needed to lose the piercings and ear ring though

  • I like this vid.. Well done! I just wish the new Who would explore this very concept. Carole Ann Ford has made it known she would gladly reprise the role, but she isnt getting any younger I'm afraid. Well, at least we will get to see Jo Grant again this season on SJA..

  • Not bad, not bad at all. Loved it

  • Is it sad that I cried at the end?

  • a damn good fan (must be a mega fan) video of a Who spin-off idea. Congrats on all the work. I guess we all pretend we're the doc when we're on our own in a spooky place (I've done it in an old woodland near my house). Nice one.

  • A very good video and i liked the idea :) one of the best ones i've seen on youtube :) ..

  • are you based on the Matt Smith Doctor?

  • this was made before Matt Smith was annouced/played the Doctor.

This is like 2 years old.

personally i think he does a better job than Matt Smith

  • somehow I don't quite remember The Doctor ever having an eyebrow piercing, or a big ear slug :(

  • That was a very poignant and touching story. Loved how you kept the mystery.

  • one of the best i have seen for a long time on youtube

  • the thing about doctor who that doesnt make any sense is that he keeps getting younger

  • so wait. who is the watcher then?

  • very cool :-)

  • this is cool i like how you played the doctor doctor who rules check out jim reeves and joni james singing danny boy its a fake duet i put together also check out my orginal song you silly doggie & rocky raccoon the continuing story its the sequel to the beatles song i hope you all enjoy them

  • your a very good actor. a brilliant replacement for david tennant maybe. :-)

  • wow!

    brilliant

  • so how come she didn't regenerate?

  • Timelords have an option. Like the Master at the end of series 3. They don't have to regenerate, they just have the ability if they wish.

  • allow me to clarify...how come she didn't choose to regenerate?

  • She was a time lord so she could of done :)

  • This was so beautiful, the ending was ghostly and captivating, and mostly it was the right length, there was no milking it, which helped maximise the beauty of this story.

    very clever, we loved it

    Checkm8 :)

  • this should be used as an idea for a real Doctor Who episode :) great job

  • I haven't seen a lot of the earlier Doctor Whos, but it seemed spot on to me. Its amazing how professional you guys make these videos. Well done.

  • Omg! This was such a touching vid. You are an amazing actor!

  • hey dude you did a good job on this you played the doctor very well hey check out on you tube the song you silly doggie its an awesome song i think you all will like it

  • I'm not saying it's a bad video I'm just saying she wouldn'y have died then. UNLESS she wanted to like the Master.

    Btw fanguy.

  • Nice work bro ! A totally different slant on things .

  • She couldn't be dead because she is a Timelady. She would have just regenerated and I doubt she would have used up all of her 12 regenerations on earth. It's not THAT dangerous.

And it wouldn't be 900 years because he left her in like the 1960's so she wouldn't have died in 40 odd years!

  • Its a video, there is no need to go all fangirl (or fanguy) on us. I think its a beautiful piece of work.

  • Yeah, but the Doctor has a time machine, so it's about 900 years for him. It's quite simple.

  • aww, so emotional! lovely vid.

  • The way your face contorts when you're being DT always makes me giggle.

I always thought the Doctor was kind of a dick for not going back to see her like he said...even if she did always annoy me. Always screaming...and getting in the way....come to think of it I probably would have left her too. Wow, I'm callus today.

  • All I can say is.. Fantastic.

Thank you for making fanfilms a REAL production of art and entertainment, not wistful self gratification.

  • Absolutely moving! I was transfixed the entire time. The music was a great selection, too - I just got the Torchwood soundtrack.

I like your version of going back to Susan the best because it's very realistic and something that would actually happen, without a "Oh no wait, she's really alive," happy reunion and all that. No, this is pretty grounded and, well, rather a beautiful take.

  • Wicked. I love you Tom!

    are you single!???

  • that was awesome great how do you do this anyway couldnt move felt like a real episode

  • I cant believe I sat here at work and watched all of you guys episodes. They're great!

  • was susan a timelord?

  • posibly she is milicents daughter and the doctors grand daughter so its poseble

  • What was that song at 00:02

  • Flat Holm Island from the torchwood soundtrack

  • Thank!!

  • Umm Can you please send it to me On Youtube. Please thi song i cant friend:)!

  • I'm so happy I found this stuff, it's amazing!

  • What does he say at 3:33?

  • 03:33 cant make out what ya sed but wow please make a sequel to this

  • I say "its saddening" - but the fade and the music covers it up x

  • BLOODY HELL THE ENDING IS SCARY!!! i ALMOST SCREAMED

  • ..

What? What was scary about it in the slightest?

good though, kinda want a sequal.

  • the watcher

  • Compare how the Doctor's scarf is tied @ 2:33 to how it is @ 2:44 (whoops!). Also a message to Tom here - In your description, don't you mean filmed in Aldbourne (a village in Wiltshire) rather than Albourne (a village in West Sussex)? :-) Brill acting & storyline by the way!

  • sorry, that was meant to say @ 2:33 and 2:42 !

  • your brilliant

  • This is work of a master

  • the music in the first minute and a half before the opening titles is beautiful. What is it called?

  • its from the torchwood album its called gwen and rhys i think x

  • I found it on the Torchwood OST, and it's called Flat Holm Island x

  • Wow! This is great. :) keep it up!

  • Finally had a chance to view this one. Hmmm.... Brilliant, quality, excellent facial expression and that teardrop at end... priceless. Keep it up. I'll be watching for more like this one. I'll later drop some more ideas on you and Tony for the future...

  • cool...I quite enjoyed this, really. You're acting ability amazes me everytime I watch one of yours or Tony's video creations.

    ~JM

  • I was gripped.

That was such a great mini-episode

    Keep up the amazing work

    x

  • great vid, thanks.

    and

    KEEP THE PIERCING IN!

  • This is amazing. Swear down, I've seen nothing as good as your stuff Tom. I love it. I gotta agree with MovieFantatic456 about the eyebrow piecing. Sorry dude. Your effects are mad! Youtube videos aren't supposed to look this good! lol Really, amazing.

Cant wait to see your Xmas special! I hope mine and Chris's vid makes the cut!

  • Each timelord has a 'watcher' that well watches over them

as seen in tom bakers era

the white thing is susans watcher, who has been waiting for the doctor.

  • arrr forget it dude.

  • geneus as I meant like a good writer, a master of the hole thng.

  • Wow your really good, Thomas!

But my only request is maybe you could take out your eyebrow piercing when you do something like this. Sorry, you're a really good actor, but the piercing kind of takes away the seriousness.

    other then that...20/10!

  • Lol! Love the doctor with an eyebrow piercing, it's like "Doctor Punk"... lol

  • Fantastic video! One of ur better drama episodes wif a brilliant plot!

  • I can't remember if I commented already or not but this absolutely brilliant Tom, Please do some more short episodes like this.

  • You are the first to tackle what happened to susan but I'm alittle confused on susan dying at the age of 96? I mean if she was from galifrey she would have at least lived twice as long as that. Besides that I loved it!

  • Its about bloody time someone picked up on going bk to susan lol well done on that!! Great location and very emotional, tho sometimes the music overlapped the dialogue XD apart from tht twas very very good! Well done

    x

  • That was sensational! x

  • ...Part 2? Please? D: I'm super intrigued!

Especially by that sign on the wall "it is forbidden to dump bodies in the water" ....oh rly? lol.

  • That was awsome! Where did you get the Pre Title sequence music from

  • Incredible!:)

  • are you shore you are not a son from rossul t-davison, you are a gineus, great video.

  • A brilliant short, Tom. I genuinely enjoyed this, and thought it was well paced and very well written. Keep up the great work!

    - Chris.

  • Great, but i dont know whats up with the white thingie. Is that like a grim reaper?

  • how can the thing be the grin reaper if he is wearing black?

  • dunno, but its werid!

  • Have you ever seen Logopolis, Tom Bakers last story? Its the watcher (the Doctors future self warning him about his regeneration)but that was Susans... I think.

  • It's supposed to be like the watcher from the episode Logopolis, I think.

  • brilliant use of location, effects and some very emotional acting, truly superb.

  • That was an awesome little episode!

The music went so well with it too!

    Well done 5/5! :D

  • Yaaaay! brill!

  • Fantastic little episode!

Very moving, i have to say some of your finest work.

I really enjoyed that, the appearance of The Watcher gave it a creepy feel.

But amazing work, you should feel proud Tom :)

    J. xxx

  • Message to Tom here -

In your description, don't you mean filmed in Aldbourne (a village in Wiltshire) rather than Albourne (a village in West Sussex)?

  • The music at the start is so sweet!

Great use of music all the way through actually, lol.

    Aww, bless the Doctor! ^^

    Love ur acting mate! =)

  • awsome!

  • great story all nicely linked together well done but i dont get the ending

  • This is awesome tom!!!!!

  • This was just touching. Lovely.

  • amazing! thats really all there is to say!

  • lol i hope i improve that much in 900 years:)

  • I loved that very much, great job!

  • Oo lovely. Really really good. :)

  • Your Tardis landings are coming on in leaps my friend - dude that freaking awesome, the bit where the watcher turned up really gave me chills awesome stuff

  • Ahh, wow mate, this is amazing! I've always pondered what the history of Susan could be, so this helped alot! The Watcher too! It was meant to be the Watcher, right? Anyway, that looked so professional! Great work Tom, well done!

  • THIS IS AMAZING

  • Brilliant stuff tom. :)

    Amazinnnnnggg ;D!

Kudos on the actinggg, it was brill. :)

  • WOW this mini episode is stunning. A camera dolly would have been really handy in places but overall a great piece of work Thomas!

  • wow tom this is great

  • This is fantastic. It was really interesting to see your interpritation of what had happened to Susan, and it made me sad. Is there more, because it seemed to end suddenly.

  • Oooh. Is there a part 2? Loved this, mate. Loved it. Fantastic work with the graphics, and the Watcher? Genius!

if there IS a part two, i'm certainly looking forward to it

  • Very awesome!

  • Whats the name of the font you've got for "900 Years Later" bit?

  • I beleive the font is called Defiant Stain and is used on most New Series merchandise.

  • I think it's Deviant Strain.

  • wow tom this is great well done m8!!!

    rob

  • Awsome....:D
