Utica NY Result of Private Enterprise at Parkway Ski Center

All of these videos are a shame to see what my "hometown" has come to be. I left the City in the early-mid 80's. Last time back there I drove my wife around and I was disgusted to see this city in such decay. Houses either burned out, torn down or boarded up. Streets in decay. To see the Parkway Recreation Center looking like it does is a total shame. How can the people of Utica allow this to occur? They elect the officials. To say I was born in Utica and see this, it's emabarrassing.

I grew up in Utica,I am 46 .. have lived in Florida for 16 years now. I had no idea how much it has changed. it is so sad..the vacant buildings..the neighborhoods that are now empty lots...Utica once was a great place to grow up..thank you so much for all your great videos of Utica..they are excellent..THANK YOU...ps..what is UFA now??

The city was the ones who actualy performed all the work so they actually brought in all the rocks and dirt

I used to go there every winter to sled...what a shame! this city is and has been falling apart!!! its really sad

Wow...use to play soccer here as a child on Sundays. Many 4th of July holidays spent there as well. What a shame to see this mess.
