@ncheriyan I've studied Latin at university. Fornication comes from the latin word fornicatio which means to have sex with prostitutes (in latent terms). This is a term which is misinterpreted by many people who read the Bible. This is why the meaning is often disputed and the meaning has been replaced with a more secular meaning i.e premarital sex. The Bible also doesn't mention masturbation specifically, you can only draw assumptions. So don't make ignorant comments, it makes you look moronic.
I was talking more from a perspective involving Jesus' culture (ancient hebrew/aramaic culture where marriage was given value). If sex is permitted outside of marriage, the bible won't talk a lot about the sanctity of marriage. It is true old testament allowed polygamy, etc but all that changed with coming of Jesus.

People who are sexually motivated by fire, by pain/suffering/death of a person are sexual deviants. But since we know homosexuaility is as natural as hetrosexuailty (since it is not classified as a psychosis) it is not a perversion but a sexual orientation.

@ncheriyan I've studied Latin at university. Fornication comes from the latin word fornicatio which means to have sex with prostitutes (in latent terms). This is a term which is misinterpreted by many people who read the Bible. This is why the meaning is often disputed and the meaning has been replaced with a more secular meaning i.e premarital sex. The Bible also doesn't mention masturbation specifically, you can only draw assumptions. So don't make ignorant comments, it makes you look moronic.

I was talking more from a perspective involving Jesus' culture (ancient hebrew/aramaic culture where marriage was given value). If sex is permitted outside of marriage, the bible won't talk a lot about the sanctity of marriage. It is true old testament allowed polygamy, etc but all that changed with coming of Jesus.
