Taylors first cd was actually brilliant and if yu were a huge fan you would Know that Taylor had no promotion, no video or even a single.released for his first cd AI wanted Daughtry to win so they put Taylor on hold and shoved Daughtry down our throats. The problem is that Taylor's first CD was not very good. I am a huge fan, his was the first Idol CD I ever bought. I listened and was amazed that something so mediocre would be released. This song - and others on The Distance - are better than anything on the first CD. If this was the debut album released back when Taylor won Idol, it would have much better staying power. He needs to somehow find big audiences so people know he's back. Idol should have him on, but they'd never do that now.

Ok, I'm one of those that was seriously upset with Chris Daughtry getting sent home. I was rooting for Katherine afterward. Elliot and Taylor did nothing for me. I didn't care for Elliot's first single, but I never heard one from Taylor. Obviously, Elliot was very well liked. I don't think that Taylor was given enough air time. He's the type of artist that people will "grow" on. He can sing, and I actually like this song.
Adult contemp-single for sure. Hope that this will snowball into more songs on air, and at Wal-Mart(80% market share for music). Let's see if we can get Tay too 1.5 million copies with this album. Finally to Simon, you'll never snuff out Taylor, so you can go and pout..lol
I think the only problem with why he's not as popular as most Idol winners is his songs kind of have an old tune... it's too mature for what teens are into (no offense, I like his music). And teens have kinda become the center of music these days (I'm one of them, lol)

This is a catchy. I DID NOT like it the first time round, however after listen to it a couple of times I like it. I do think it needs more juice and less KoolAid but it will do for the fans. I do not see this song being a hit on pop radio. It might do well on AC like Tay's last songs.
This is a great song. Very clever indeed. I heard that the first song on the album is called Wedding Day Blues and it is supposed to be really smooth as well. An acoustic blues tune. Its about a wedding crash. How killer is that? I can't wait to hear the whole thing either. Go Taylor!!
