Q - Global Warming: do you REALLY know how bad it will be?

In 1970, when environmentalists were making predictions of man made global cooling and the threat of an ice age, what kind of government policy should we have undertaken to prevent such a calamity?

When Ehrlich predicted that England would not exist in the year 2000, what steps should the British Parliament have taken in 1970 to prevent such a dire outcome?

Finally, what makes us think that environmental alarmism is any more correct today than yesterday?

Poppycock! We have had 11 yrs of GLOBAL COOLING. Solar cycle 24 has almost zero sunspot activity. This means more cloud formation, causing heat to reflect back to space. No we're not fine. Actually, as climate change accelerates, weather will be more erratic, including some colder and more intense winters. Over time, the trend will be toward warmer winters, but along the way, there will be turbulence.

This video is propaganda. Not only is global warming a planetary cycle it is a cycle in our solar system. When you get around to taking a look you will see that the temperatures are increasing through out the solar system. I'm all for good stewardship of the planet. dude u fucking dont understand...u dont 1 Degree can effect polar ice caps because if the polar ice caps are at the temprature of 0 degree with one degree added it will be 1 degreee meltingthe polar ice caps because of the scincetific thoery...

The polar ice caps are not 0 degrees celcius, and if they really were, then they would completely disappear in the summer, which they don't.
