In the last example you should have displayed the curvature plot in it the other direction :)

In general, nice examples. I liked the blending + the two "deg 7" driving curves. You said that the result is "heavy". Why? The result is simply perfect and we, as modelers, should not think about "number of control points". What is good is good as far it can be good for downstream applications.
