I have a rationale that dictates that if you continue to listen to radio after getting an MP3 player, you aren't even half as grateful for having an MP3 player to better conform to music taste, along with more songs per hour and more genres per playlist!!!
And those who have Internet have access to premium entertainment that they ultimately take for granted!!!
That's why the D is so special... There has been little formal recognition of techno... It wasn't "popular", it wasn't glamorous... it was just damn good. Detroit has lots of civil problems, and one beautiful gift to the world: TECHNO.
whoever said detroit is the techno capitol of the world is retarted, because i've been to detroit a million times and their big events are completely oblivious to hardstyle.
people look bored out of their mind. I would be too. the dj sucks, and the idiots who are rapping to it really need to stop. I wouldn't of wasted my time. horrible video.
Why is it that the biggest idiots like you are allowed anywhere near a computer with internet access. You killed your mum with that big head of yours.
Ever since they started charging for this event it has been LAME. Jeff Mills was the highlight of last year. I miss all of the people who used to come out when it was free. I ahve been to every one since DAY ! in 20001
detroit gigs seem to pull less of a crowd than in scotland where i'm from (maybe it cos every time i see mills/banks/larkin/may/atkins etc it is in a more intimate surroundings and not a city centre)...maybe this music should stay underground where i want it to stay (long live the underground/shirk the ova-ground)
The first year will never be matched. I've been to every one for at least one day, but the first year was completely insane because of the new environment and the fact that the city was allowing it to happen.
I have a friend who would've loved to have been there. It looks super fun, though I'm having a little trouble reconciling the super sunny day with the electronica vibe... Isn't it supposed to be dark and smoky? :)
fuck that way more love at demf

Well I'm with you too!!!
I would rather swallow a diarrhea dump from a buffalo than fall for any nonsense gimmicks radio has!!!
Honoring the new is the way to go when the old has less reason.
Out with the old, in with the new!!!

What I find nuts, is that Detroit is the alleged techno capital of the world, but has no techno radio station.
Besides, FUCK THE RADIO! We got Internet to try out songs, and MP3 players to randomize songs!
YOUTUBE FOR LIFE!
