Hey! I know that waterfall! A few years back, a bunch of LoTR fans filmed a short vid there, too! I about froze my feet off in that water!
Nicely done. Good editing, good effects, good sound. My one beef is with the credits. They were more than a little hard to read. Less flicker would be helpful.
We used 2 cameras and just moved around. Seemed like a good idea at the time until I started doing the special effects. It took about 12 hours to put them in.
anyway this is one of the best amateur vids ive seen,.. but is it that the swords look a little bit painted? have you done this with after effects? would be interested, maybe u can write me back wich programm u used... and ahm... respect good work ;)
Pretty good, although the lightsaber effects could have been better. You should set the blending mode to Screen, so the lightsabers blend when they overlap, instead of one overshadowing the other. The lens flares at the base were a nice touch, most people don't bother to add those because of the extra rotoscoping. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. This was only my second attempt with Lightsabers. I used Adobe After Effects 6.5 and took about 20 hours. We shot this 2 years ago and I finally got up enough nerve to add the effects, at witch time I had to relearn the whole process. My kids like it, so to me it was a success. I dont think George Lucas will be calling me any time soon though!
not bad guys. Much better choreographed than most I've seen. Although, If your going to do a spin or turn, push the other persons lightsaber away first so they can't just wack you in the back. It makes things look more realistic.
Cool vid! Where in Governor Dodge was that filmed?

On Youtube the credits are hard to read, but not on the regular AVI file. Thanks for the comment!

i like how many camera angles you used. most people don't do that. did you film it multiple times or did you use more than one camera?
