omg rise of the planet of the apes is now one of my favorite movies and for green lantern i was also fully expecting the case to be green but when i saw that it was blue i was like okay at least the discs are gonna be green but they are black...

Super 8 was the best movie of the summer in my opinion check out my review of it here and those blu-ray digibooks are awesome i just recently got Citizen Kane, The Color Purple, and 300 books for sale at best buy for $10.99

For me, "Super 8" is more like "ET" meets "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind", don't you think so?

@ernguyen2 I love E.T. and the nostalgic feeling I get from Super 8 is similar to the way I feel watching E.T., but Super 8 is about the kids. That's why I think it's a lot like the Goonies. It doesn't really remind me of Close Encounters too much.

I'm also a bog Tom Hanks film and I hope his new movie does well . A lot of people seem to hate Super 8 but I'm with you it was highly enjoyable and had that classic Spielberg feel. Pirates 2 was my favorite , the 3rd one was by far the worst , the 4th was a return to decency for the series. Great update!

Great update - I agree about the Green Lantern movie should've come in a green case. One of the DC animated Green Lantern movies came in a green case - so, there's no excuse. Nice pick-ups. I thought Cowboys and Aliens was an under appreciated movie. They could make a prequel if they wanted to. Rise of the Apes is my Movie of the Year for 2011.

Hi Robbie. I too am a big fan of Mr. Hitchcock. I bought a 5 disc set a couple months back. It's called 'the essential hitchcock collection'. I was wondering what you thought of it, even though, yes, I know it's only dvd, not blu ray. But the packaging is really really nice. the outside box is black with multiple photo's of the 5 movies in the set-rear window/birds/psycho/vertigo/nx­nw. the set has tons of bonus material. Have you seen this set and did it look interesting to you?

@paulb111 I've seen the set and it looks pretty nice, but I already have all of those DVDs so I wouldn't purchase it myself. I also have Psycho and North by Northwest on Blu-ray. I'd like to eventually collect all of his films. I think right now I have around a dozen of them so I've got a long way to go lol

I wish they would expand the rainbow of blu-ray case colors too, I've seen black ones on eBay... but they want like $4 a piece for them. I buy replacement cases for those dumb eco-cases, there's an ebay seller that will sell you a 50 pack of double disc blu-ray cases for about $26 (that includes shipping!).

@PlanetBierwagen @PlanetBierwagen I get mine from usplastics. com. They're really high quality, the same kind Sony and Disney use with their releases. I think they're around 40 or 50 cents each. I've heard of a red case, but it comes with a stupid movie. I've seen the green cases in a few different films and I have the 5 disc black cases that came with the LOTR extended edition box set. Wish they would make every color though. It'd be cool to see an orange Rango case.

@robbiewwebster True, true... I know that WHIP IT and THE INCREDIBLE HULK (w/ Edward Norton) had green cases. I still think it'd been funny if the header on the HULK case said "Gamma Ray" instead of blu-ray. :) I may have to check out this usplastics. I've also bought a couple of 14mm 6-dsc cases. Those are nice for building some of my combo packs. I used a sixer for my CLERKS combo pack blu-ray, 3 disc CLERKS X edition and the 2 disc cartoon set... now that's cutting back on shelf space! :)
