Feels so good to see Chun-li get beat like that, she's the most easy to use and most annoying character (next to dhalsim). That was Dhalsims worst match too and he won with flying colours
Ahh Muteki, such an amazing Guile player. Always one step ahead. But Gian was really on top of his game this event. No other Guile player could have come closer.
:4:53, guile had his ass then that last second toss got him. Dhalsim is a BEAST in the hands of a master it's crazy. However, his close game is not so much that hot. Playing with a defensive character such as guile, he has to really toss SB's then try to inch closer to get a combo or a meaty attack. this was a great match.
dhalsim was and is my fave char to watch and play.everyone thinks he is lame but actually he is good in the right hands.i used to take him back in the days of the arcades and still do in the home and portable consoles.
us SFIII fighters are so much better than our SF2 brothers. Better game, more based on pure school. If a newb ever beat me at SFIII, I would probably kill myself.
I play ST sf3 and cvs2, and (to me at least) all require a large amount of skill to be played right. It is true that a super combo can turn the tide of a match, but so can a geni-jin, or a makoto coke loop. Newbs are nowhere near this level of expertize and it will be a cold day in hell if i loose to a newb in any of these fighting games.
I'm just saying they all require skill to play. I think you need to learn to read again, cause in my comment, i never said anything about being old school.
YOU NEED TO LEARN TO READ.. I wasn't even replying to you. I posted this under ffwcs's comment... Not yours.. Learn how to properly use/understand the youtube commenting service... Then you'll see who was replying to what... I read just fine thank you... Spelling would be a different matter...LOL
Dhalsim is actually one of the best characters in st. He is up there on the tier list with o. sagat and ryu. He has great range, he can combo off of his fireballs, his yoga noogie traps are devistating, and his drills are really hard to get around. He may take damage like an 8 year old red headed step child, and he is the easiest to stun in the game, but he is no push over by a long shot.
Its better then being corner raped by noogies, rh drills, lk slides, and yoga flames (which all can be ticked into more noogies.) Dhalsim is really hard to fight with guile. Its amazing that Muteki fought as hard as he did.
i think this is the most intense ST matches i'v seen . And i have seen all gian's and muteki's matches on youtube...

how can dhalsim pull off constant yoga fires?

gian and ryu just don't mix.

Guile needs to jump in and not let the Indian use his range advantage.
Roan7995 2 years ago
you need to not forget about anti airs.
dxmakina 2 years ago
back lk beats almost all of guiles jump ins, and sets back up for range, or he can slide and do noogie loops. Its not good for guile at any range.

In Super turbo, Dhalsim is up there with O. Sagat on the tier list. Basically he is arguably the best character in the game.
ZhangHe2369 4 years ago 2
vega would school them both
zimzim7 4 years ago
your a retard. maybe ARG, but i think the best guile in the world, and the winner of evo2k5 would win this match v. your vega.
ZhangHe2369 4 years ago
maybe vs "my" vega. but the best the vega player could pwn guilesky

What are you saying? SF3 more Old School than SF2? I think you need to find out what "old school" means if that is what you are implying.

I have to say Muteki is one of the best guiles i've ever seen..his play is so amazing and on-point.Truly an art watching him play.
Moonblood00 4 years ago
Muteki means invincible, hence invincible guile (just a little trivia).
ZhangHe2369 4 years ago
That Guile brawls well. You can tell how frustrated he was playing that cheap-ass Dahlsim!
Batou667 5 years ago
Dhalsim can actually fight! i've never seen anyone play him wisely as he's so weak.

Wow there's a good strategy against dhalsim
"Lets stay far away from him"
Yeah, it's not like dhalsims good at that distance.
