A man has killed his pregnant ex girlfriend and young son this week. He threatened to kill her and police were well aware, and yet he was allowed to do this.
UK police system is broken, too many stories of anti-social, yobs and hooligans being treated like victims. Too many stories of innocent, good people getting no help or comfort. I used to consider police heros alongside Firemen, Doctors, Nurses, not anymore. These people are supposed those who can't protect themselves, but they don't.
to be honest there not thick they got to the other side and the only way to the other side was through the middle they just had to push it a little bit it was better then pushing all the way or going through the mud were they will hould have got stuck
some comments ive read on here, were not even real coppers, specials have the same powers as a regular pc its just that they do something for the community free! and theyve all been kicked out because they shouldnt have been driving the van?? ,,,did they all drive it then!
Fact is people specials or not they are still police officers!
Also those people were out there helping people during the floods as were officers in Yorkshire etc and not getting paid!
would any of you lot that can all very well take the piss and laugh from your chairs but doubt any of you would volunteer to get wet and cold for nout!

Just to prove that most cops are talentless, power mad and up there own arse with no skills of any kind, and that tit had done a driving course.... it gets even better when instead of pushing the van back out of the water they push it further in, also like the chap with the "its a fair cop" shame theres no such thing.

Actually my mate works the same division, and in Derbyshire Police you can only drive the Vans if you have passed the standard three week driving course allowing you to drive code blue, as in at speed with the lights and sirens, NO Specials are allowed to do the three week code blue course in Derbyshire Police only regular officers, Specials only do a one day basic assessment therefore they are only allowed to drive the astras and corsas with no lights/sirens on, you GOON!!
It was nice of the guys to help them out and just stand there watching. They could have been on their way to save somebodies life, but as soon as they get into trouble its the police who they'l call first. Maybe they should turn up laughing at their misfortunes.

Well, having read all the comments, I think it was mis-judgement call.
I can't see why they would have been kicked out, police service's should be very forward thinking "live and learn" organisations.
