And if Jannick Gers were Randy Rhoads or anything close people wouldn't be talkin' shit all the time. He's a decent musician and songwriter, but as a live soloist he gets swept away by the Maiden crew of Murray and Smith. He muddies their sound a bit and they don't need him.

Still he stuck with "Blaze Maiden" for all those terrible shows. A trooper in the full rock and roll sense. May he live on.

The truth, Janick is an incredible guitarist, but I prefer Adrian, his solo's have variety, none are incredibly similar, Janicks solos all have the same setup, alt-picking, and speed.

@Shazeen82 He had his good moments on Dance Of Death Tour & The Early Days Tour 2005. If Adrian plays Dave or Janick's solos they're very similar to the original, but with Adrian's style thrown in. When Janick tries to play Adrian's solo you are stunned by the low quality of it, it's not even similar! That's the fact, but Janick fanboys will always be yellin' about.

@UNIDAD347 If you reply my post again, try to use English. I replies only what I've understood by translating in dictionary. They both have own style - that's why Janick shouldn't play Adrian's solos at all because it sounds bad. However, Adrian knows Dave's style very much so he could copy some of his trademarks during Accident Of Birth/Chemical Wedding tours & he done it really great. Search for Powerslave for example. Steve didn't fire Janick because everybody wants him to stay.

lol.. I can't fucking believe you guys don't even know... Janick Gers is left-handed and plays a right-handed guitar? Is that easy? Well, if you practice, you can do it. But I don't think it's as easy as you think. Janick is a shred-solo-guitarist, something ALOT different to Adrian. Dave Murray is again the best of them all, because he can play alot of riffs & shreds in his soloes that just work out fantastic, AND play the same things Adrian does.

they where indeed running across the stage, like a lot of bands do, but to trow your guitar up and just shred youre way down..
