it has nothing to go with the change of deck you guys. you have to set up your cards before doing the trick which takes up to like 5 mins, so instead of wasting time he used a pre-set deck and explained how to set it up quickly. its an easy trick if you actually pay attention to his instructions

the trick works perfectly ive done it a million times after watching this video. You have to listen to his instructions on setting up the cards very carefully, if you mess up on this one step the whole trick doesnt work.
