Honestly, I only expected these glasses to stand up to ejected casings. Never thought they would stand up to a damn shotgun. Proud to own the pair I have now. Haha!

The suppressed pistol reduces Hi-Vel and Hyper-Vel to subsonic velocities, so it was likely something along those lines.

I really wouldn't worry about it too much. The polycarbonate of the lenses covers the entire area around your eyes.

This ESS goggles save a lot of eyes in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am thinking to get an ESS goggles with turbo fan build in it and a new 2009 design ESS. The ESS Ice suck if you have a thin head, It will fall off when you are running. If you have average and big head you are good with the ESS ice glasses.

they dont completely reflect the bullets stupid it absorbs them and leaves the little pips you saw ..it can take shrapnel easy ..it saved my friends eyes
