I do like this video, however i disagree when you say that new skate videos don't focus enough ontricks and too much on filming, i must say, filming is very important, i can't stand watchin a video with bad filming or editing. and you gotta show at least some stuff besides the tricks (make it fun!) sick vid tho your a rank skater!

some companies do it right, others do it wrong.

ie, slow motion running shots to every trick, with double angles every few seconds.

i would much rather watch a low budget 20minute video thats just SKATE,SKATE,SKATE.

(something like a traffic video, or night prowler, or gnargnar) then a video thats over an hour long, with extra stuff that isn't needed.

a problem with HD stuff is, the frame rate is huge, therefore you have to slow mo alot of stuff.. which can be over kill.

yeah man, the first time i heard animal collectives album "feels" I knew one of their songs would go amazing with skating.. But I could never find the right video for it. But after hearing this remix a few months back, I knew I wanted to use it somehow, at some point.

HD can look amazing, but sometime is over done, and almost attempts to sway the person watching the video.. like "HEY LOOK AT THIS TRICK ITS SO CRAZY OH MY GOD!!!" followed by shots of them running at the ledge or something.

And hell, if you want to film a little part, just go get a point and shoot camera and shoot a fun little video in 1 afternoon, those are userally the most rewarding sessions anyhow!

its a blank tape that's dubed with skate videos shown on a tv program called "blue torch tv". it has parts from foundation- artbars, santa cruz- uprising, and a few others

I've basicly wrecked the tape by watching it so much, but i love it.

I had that VHS tape I would bring everywhere with me when I was like 12 / 13, I would be on the look out for anything skateboarding-related that would be shown on TV, going as far as watching surf programs hoping to see some skating, and as soon as I would I'd press record. I gathered an hour of footage like that, including bastiens first ever contest run at the dordtmund world championships, before he even got on flip I think
