@Ankit3767 avoid moving when bursting, when you do a strafing for example, to the right and see an enemy, tap left button and start bursting. aim for neck and pull down to chest/stomach depends on your range towards the enemy. you can also get a slightly less spreading 5 bullet burst if you crouch but however, the recoil is slightly going up much faster so you have to lower your crosshair faster.

@chaquator lighter means narrower, not lower*. IMHO source has REALLY HIGH recoil where you have to aim on the floor to get a headshot from fully sprayed AK. that is what makes source kind of hard as you can't see the recoil pattern and hoping the bullet will hit head somehow:D

so to make a very long story short... single-shoot 4 bullets and give the recoil some time to readjust, then another 4 bullets if needed. the fifth bullet in a burst is always inaccurate.

James is consistently one of the worst players that have been fragging at an invite level for a long time. I would say at best he has a great sense of leadership and the ability to teach. Logic states the less bullets you use to kill someone the faster it takes, a simple three bullet burst kills to the face. Imagine if you miss a 1 bullet tap than a 5 bullet burst, you will need more time to adjust therefore giving your opponent to kill you much faster. Great tool for beginners =/...

@thebirdman19 This video doesn't just go over "how to shot after soooo many years" as you put it. This is based on an old demo but still very relevant. Jame^s goes over the math behind the recoil patterns (there's 10-12 patterns meaning they are NOT random, it's just the way in which how they are triggered that's random), the "5th bullet" recoil and numerous other insightful bits of information that people, yes, may still not know even today.

So we encourage you and others to simply watch it.

@winoutpro Just got back to cs1.6 after 2 years and found this video helpful to start off. However, after spending some time in CS, every person has is own technique, own mouse movement, reflexes, drags, etc. It's becomng your sixth sense after a while. It's a good video to cover the basics and get people to head in the right direction
