Yes, it is actually an AVON box. It's real easy to convert the lid into a hinge style for easy access. They have chewed on it, and it probably wouldn't be suitable for larger beaked birds, but the convenience of being able to toss out -rather than try to clean- the nest box is a great advantage.
how cute. i have a cockatiel that i hand raised and she wont let anyone touch her except me and my mom. but she will only step up for me . my 1st cockatiel puddin died from a respiratory infection 5 days after i got him.
Aw, how adorable!! My cockatiel is answering your birds.. it's too funny! Everytime yours talks mine answers!!
Lucky (my cockatiel) was the only survivor of a house fire. If you have any hints for me to make him more social I'd appreciate it! He has a lot of fear and I doubt would ever just sit on my shoulder!! Now I want Lucky to be a Daddy too.. those babies are precious!!
I keep playing this video over and over again since it seems to really make Lucky happy! =)
Joey Lightning? BBO GOT ALL THE YOUTUBE ACCOUNTS!!! soo like they hatch days apart? I think the whistling would drive me nuts. he looks like plucked chicken. alouette. yummy. do those buggers get big nuff for eatin?

I didn't know you also bred your birds... Or is this a first time for you?

They've had 3-4 clutches in the past 3 years. They are good parents. I let them do the feeding, but then I "play" with the babies to socialize them.

OK ok ok must stay calm, must not squee and hurt everyone's eardrums.
But they are soo adorable!! Like little fluffy butterballs with their downy goodness! I wanna hold one!
Wait...when did you get Wilma?
kirkygirl 3 years ago
Wilma was a rescue in 2005. She is very gentle, but she isn't really friendly so I hardly ever mention her.
bowlingballout 3 years ago
They are SO tiny!! Congrats to the proud parents--WILMA & ?! I didn't catch the papa's name! Baby birdie poop--is this your BIRD channel?! LOL!
katalina2007 3 years ago
