i tried that one last time---- but the thing is: they say when you apply that you should just bring a dvd of your performance if you require a long set-up time.... and i followed those rules and just brought a dvd. maybe that's why i'm not getting in: i need to actually perform live for them. it would take a few minutes to set everything up, but i've seen other people take a while too....

hey what's up. i learn the melody by hearing the song. I've been playing by ear for about 7 years or so and it gets pretty easy at this point. I guess my advice to you would be to practice listening very carefully to the song and trying to differentiate between the chords you learned and the melody, and then try to figure out the melody little by little on piano or guitar.
