Yet another "instructor" in a seemingly endless pool who's telling players to swing down on the ball....no pro has a downward bat path. How in the world did this ever become synonymous with "short to the ball"? Swinging down takes forever to get the barrel to the pitch plane...nothing "short" about it.

@123456789107600 your probably doing rotational hitting where you squish the bug i used to be the same way if your squishing your back foot and over rotating you will hit the ball of the end of the bat and roll over 2 short or pop out to the infield or short outfield look up linear hitting if you look at most maor leaguers like albert pujols of the cardinals and kevin youk of the redsox there foot is straight up at a 90 degree angle if not of the ground look at it that should help and um im 13

Some good points, but a terrible representation on how the bat and arms are at contact. The bat always angles down at contact, and when done correctly the bat ~ aligns with the front forearm at contact. Depicting anything else shows the instructor does not really understand a swing.
Wow! This guy communicates well, and has a bundle of great drills. The best thing is, they're all done with a simple tee. No need for a whole bunch of props. I am actually encouraged by this video.
