@luke666808g That's not true considering I've been listening to The Damned ( umm there British ), Lynard Skynard ( there American ) and Hanoi Rocks ( there Finnish ) Oops Judas Priest etc all week. My apologizes. what I shoud've stated was that I can't listen to the local radio station for 2 minutes because rock music in the states isn't very as appealing to me anymore. In defense of American music you've got bands like The Mars Volta, Mastodon, Coheed and Cambria, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Cynic, My Morning Jacket etc.

If you like Onmyouza, you'd definitely love DespairsRay. Some others include Deadman, Due'le Quartz, Psycho Le Cemu, Versailles, Megaromania, Raphael, Direngrey, La'Mule.. There's lots more. However, for real metal, you gotta listen to Scandinavian Bands. Depends on what type of rock you like. I just love them all.
