This will be called anti-Mormon by the LDS but it is not.
It is a simple statement that I doubt anyone could find fault with.
To whit:
I you list only the things, both past and present, that are provably "Questionable" about Joseph Smith, the "Visions", the "Translations", Brigham Young, LDS doctrine, LDS history and the BoM itself you CAN come to a conclusion about the validity of the LDS church, Mormonism, et al.
For an LDS official to predicate your employment with them on demonstration of your ability to donate part of your income back (net or gross) is the basis for a civil lawsuit-and it could call into question the LDS' Church or employers status as a non profit institution.
They can preach tithing, but it cannot be imposed as a condition of continued employment without gross transgression of employment standards and practice common to any civilized jurisdiction.
Isn't that music from a movie that starred Kevin Costner, Mary McDonnell, Graham Greene, and Rodney A. Grant??
What was the name of that movie?? Oh, yeah, NOW I remember!!
"Dances With Lamanites"!!

What that conclusion is rests with you.
I have drawn my conclusion.

I listened to the Van Hale, Simon Brotherton interview. Van lives in a Mormon world of unbelievable mysticism and spiritualism.
